  • Publication number: 20080302627
Abstract: When it is predicted that a request for a parking lock operation is likely to be received, an actuator of a parking mechanism is controlled to perform standby processing for bringing the parking mechanism into a standby state immediately preceding a lock state to wait for the request for the parking lock operation.

  • Publication number: 20070207887
Abstract: A composite gear member of the power transmission device is divided into an annular first member and a second member. The annular first member is formed with an output gear. The second member is formed with internal teeth and spline-coupled to an inner portion of the first member. Therefore, the influence of the engagement reaction force generated from the output gear of the first member is decreased by the spline-coupling, and the vibration is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20060015015
Abstract: A medical data warning notifying system and method for notifying a hospital only when there is abnormal data in medical data entered by a patient on peritoneal dialysis at home. In the medical data warning notifying system, a patient terminal used by a patient, a server for controlling data exchanged between the patient and a hospital, and a hospital terminal used by a doctor are interconnected over a network. The server receives medical data entered through the patient terminal, stores the received medical data, and judges from the received medical data whether or not there is any abnormal data. If it is judged that abnormal data is included, a warning signal is sent to the hospital terminal. A message created on the hospital terminal is relayed and sent to the patient terminal.

  • Patent number: 6684168
Abstract: Local observer frame LOC which is located near a body and moving on a global coordinate system is used for locally observing the body together with the global coordinate system. The rigid body displacement and elastic vibration of the body are represented by rigid body modes and elastic modes respectively, and analyzed by modal analysis uniformly handling these rigid body modes and elastic modes.

  • Patent number: 5631041
Abstract: A magnetic disc manufacturing apparatus is includes a polishing device for conducting a surface polishing treatment on a disc, a supply device for supplying lubricant onto the polished disc, and a feeding mechanism for feeding the disc between the devices. If necessary, it is provided with a curing device for curing the lubricant on the disc. The treatments of the devices and the disc feeding operation are synchronized with one another, and a disc processed in each device is fed to a next device at a constant time interval by the feeding mechanism, thereby performing a continuous disc manufacturing process.
