  • Patent number: 10811204
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes an armature, and a movable body configured to move in association with a swing of the armature. The armature includes a support portion opposed to a leg portion of an iron core, a magnetic pole opposed to another leg portion of the iron core, and an arm portion extending to connect the support portion and the magnetic pole. A movable body is attached to the arm portion and provided with a pressure projection for moving movable contacts. The pressure projection is located on a segment connecting the center of gravity of the support portion and the center of gravity of the magnetic pole.

  • Patent number: 6329891
Abstract: A high frequency relay capable of effectively shielding a signal path, yet reducing a number of the parts forming the shield and the associated structure. The relay has a dielectric base mounting three fixed contacts arranged in a line and defined at upper ends of three contact terminals extending through the base. Two movable contact springs are utilized, each bridging the two adjacent fixed contacts for closing and opening a high frequency signal path between the two adjacent fixed contacts. Upstanding from the base is a pair of electromagnetic shield plates which define a shielded space therebetween for accommodating the three fixed contacts and the two movable contact springs. Each of the shield plates is configured to come into electrical contact with corresponding one of the movable contact springs moved in the contact opening position.

  • Patent number: 6204740
Abstract: A coaxial relay is build up from a contact block and an electromagnet block. The contact block carries a plurality of coaxial connectors each composed of a core conductor and a shield conductor surrounding the core conductor. The core conductors extend into a shield chamber to define thereat respective coaxial contacts. At least one movable blade is disposed within the shield chamber for closing and opening the two adjacent coaxial contacts. The movable blade is provided with a dielectric actuator which projects on the top of the contact block and is engaged with a return spring secured to the contact block for urging the movable blade in a direction of opening the coaxial contacts. The electromagnet block carries at least one electromagnet and an armature which is engageable with the actuator when the electromagnet block is assembled to the contact block. The armature moves about a pivot axis from a first position of opening the coaxial contacts to a second position of closing the same.

  • Patent number: 6100606
Abstract: A miniaturized high frequency switching device is capable of giving an optimum over-all impedance over the length of a signal path while compensating for inevitable impedance variation seen in a particular segment of the signal path. The switching device includes a contact block having fixed contacts and a movable contact. The fixed contacts and the movable contact are surrounded by an electromagnetic shield which is supported on a conductor base to be grounded therethrough for isolating the current path from a surrounding electromagnetic field. The fixed contacts are formed respectively on one ends of terminal pins provided for electrical connection to an external load circuit operating on high frequency signals. The terminal pin extends through an insulation ring fitted in the conductor base so as to be electrically insulated therefrom and form the signal path flowing a high frequency current.

  • Patent number: 4740771
Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes an electromagnet block and an armature block both mounted together on a relay base. The armature block is magnetically coupled to the electromagnet block such that it is magnetically driven thereby to move linearly between two operating positions for actuating the contact assembly into open and closed contact conditions. The armature block is supported on the base by means of a U-shaped balancing spring with a pair of parallel spring arms in the form of a spring leaf and a web integrally bridging the parallel spring arms at one end of each arm.

  • Patent number: 4621246
Abstract: A polarized electromagnet relay with reduced width and height is disclosed to have on a base plate an electromagnet block, an armature block with a permanent magnet and at least one contact assembly. The armature block is cooperative with the electromagnet block and is driven in response to the energization thereof to reciprocate between two operating positions so as to actuate the contact assembly for contact switching. The electromagnet block includes a generally E-shaped yoke with a pair of opposed side legs and a center leg defining a core around which the excitation coil is wound. The contact assembly is mounted on the lateral side of the base plate to be received between the adjacent side leg and the base plate so as not to add an extra dimension to the width of the relay.
