Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for providing a real-time viewshed visualization. Provided here is a method for generating viewshed map for one or more client nodes, comprising (a) receiving a first set light source data associated with an area; (b) obtaining a set of elevation data associated with the area; (c) generating a shadow map based at least in part on the first set light source data and the elevation data associated with the area; (d) receiving interactive position data from the one or more client nodes; and (e) generating a real-time viewshed map visualization of the area by rendering the shadow map based on the interactive position data.

Abstract: A document comparison system compares revisions of a document by comparing content of a first revision of an object with content of a second revision of the object to produce a comparison object in a comparison document. The system then determines a footprint of the second revision of the object, where the footprint is a dimensional length and width of the object and its position relative to a page boundary of the document. Next, the system determines whether the entire compared content fits within the footprint of the second revision of the object. If the system determines that the entire compared content fits within the footprint of the second revision of the object, the system displays the comparison object having the same footprint as the second revision of the object. If the system determines that the entire compared content does not fit within the footprint of the second revision of the object, the system then displays the comparison object in a second manner.

Abstract: A method of storing a document on a server, including: extracting document content from a document stored on the server, using a processor on the server; dividing the document content into a plurality of document content sections; generating a parallel data structure for the plurality of document content sections based on a viewing size, where the parallel data structure includes a plurality of selectors, and the plurality of selectors includes pagination selectors; and storing the plurality of document content sections in a plurality of locations on the server. The method may further include storing the parallel data structure in a location on the server separate the plurality of document content sections; generating a table of contents based on the pagination; and rendering the plurality of document content sections into a plurality of document pages based on the plurality of selectors in the parallel data structure.
