The method and system further including comparing at each remaining one of the plurality of mobile units the corresponding preamble detection time trx,i with a predetermined time parameter tcorr, and adjusting the corresponding preamble detection time trx,i of each remaining one of the plurality of mobile units accordingly. In addition, a method for logical timeslot synchronization and its enhancement using directed synchronization procedure with a refresh procedure are disclosed if a transmitting mobile unit exits the communication network and reconnects thereto.
