  • Patent number: 11936618
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer readable storage medium provide the ability to identify an internet connected household (ICH). An Internet Protocol (IP) address is received at an Internet entity. Determinations are made regarding whether device activity from the IP address does not exceed a defined activity threshold and whether an IP assignment age for the IP address is greater than a defined threshold age. Based on the determinations, the IP address can be identified as belonging to an ICH or not.

  • Publication number: 20160191598
Abstract: Disclosed are a system and method of online video streaming and rendering on mobile internet connected devices, in particular streaming of internet video advertisements and internet video content embedded on webpages through a web browser or application WebView. The system and method enable a webpage to embed video content that plays within the web browser app or application WebView using a standard process operable on all mobile devices and which does not require additional browser plug-ins or user initiation to render the video. Furthermore, the system and method provide a real-time process for transcoding video media assets that are encoded in numerous formats to a standard that renders embedded video on any webpage when accessed by a mobile internet connected device.

  • Publication number: 20140229271
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, article of manufacture, and computer program product provide the ability to rate advertisement placement quality. First data is collected from a panel of opt-in users. The first data is information about advertisement exposure and first web pages visited. A system of web crawlers are used to visit and render second web pages in a web browser to extract web crawling data. The web crawling data is information about advertisement placement in the second web pages. The first data is processed and aggregated with the web crawling data. Based on the aggregated first data and web crawling data, an ad placement quality rating is computed.

  • Publication number: 20140229268
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, article of manufacture and computer program product provide the ability to determine the opportunity to see an online advertisement. Determinations are made regarding whether the advertisement is in a visible portion of a webpage, whether the advertisement is in an active tab of a web browser, and whether a browser window is visible. A confirmation is conducted that the visibility of the advertisement is not hindered by an element or a parent element property. A percentage of the advertisement that has an opportunity to be seen is calculated by dynamically inserting visibility trackers into the advertisement and detecting which of the trackers are concurrently visible at a same time. Times each of the trackers are visible are calculated to determine a time in view measurement by ad percentage. A determination is made whether the advertisement is shown to a real, human, non-automated website visitor.
