  • Publication number: 20240040960
Abstract: The disclosed technology provides systems and methods for power machines, including electrically powered mowers. A mower can be provided with a cooling system that produces a cooling airflow within a mower frame to extract heat from power electronics. A mower can include control assemblies with an adjustable neutral position to improve inter-operation of braking and tractive controls. A cutting assembly for a mower can include an adapter configured to allow a blade to rotate independently of a motor spindle when a transmitted torque is above a threshold torque value.

  • Patent number: 11208782
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include post driving implements which attach to a power machine such as a loader in order to pick up posts of various sizes and materials and/or to drive the posts into the ground. In some exemplary disclosed embodiments, the post driving implement allows a post to be picked up when positioned inline with a direction of power machine travel and allows the post to rotate under the force of gravity to a second position in which the post is inline with a pounding mechanism for pounding the post into the ground. Catch mechanisms can be included to capture a portion of the implement to maintain the post in the second position until a release action is taken or a release command is given.

  • Patent number: 9291105
Abstract: Disclosed are horsepower management systems and methods for use on power machines with an engine that powers a drive system. An engine speed control device controls the engine speed. A variable displacement drive pump controlled by a displacement control member provides pressurized fluid to a drive motor. A control system communicates with the engine speed control device and the pump displacement control member. The control system includes a user input device and a command lever rotatably coupled to the displacement control member and capable of receiving the user input. The command lever provides a signal to the engine speed control device in response to the user input. The command lever also commands a given displacement via the displacement control member subject to load forces on the hydrostatic pump transmitted to a limiting mechanism coupled to the command lever and the displacement control member.
