  • Patent number: 7368054
Abstract: A separator to separate oil and debris from an aqueous fluid includes a container with a cover, the top portion of which includes a control panel access door. The separator draws an aqueous fluid with one or a plurality of skimmers that float on the aqueous fluid inside one or a plurality of corresponding reservoirs. When the separator is operating, the surface portion of the aqueous fluid is drawn into each corresponding skimmer hose and transferred to the separator by a pickup hose. The separator separates oil, debris and any sludge that may be in the aqueous fluid to provide a substantially filtered aqueous fluid. The substantially filtered aqueous fluid is then returned to the reservoirs through an exit hose.

  • Publication number: 20080010952
Abstract: An apparatus for delivering desired counts of products to containers. The apparatus includes a conveyor for moving discrete product portions along a path of travel. A force detecting device located along the path of travel measures force applied to the force detecting device. A counter adds one to a product count each time a force in a product identifying range is measured. A directing structure directs the product portions into a first container until the product count reaches a desired container count and directs the product portions into a second container after the product count reaches the desired container count.

  • Publication number: 20070060510
Abstract: The present invention relates to compounds of Formula I or II, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, ester, or prodrug, thereof: which inhibit serine protease activity, particularly the activity of hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS3-NS4A protease. Consequently, the compounds of the present invention interfere with the life cycle of the hepatitis C virus and are also useful as antiviral agents. The present invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising the aforementioned compounds for administration to a subject suffering from HCV infection. The invention also relates to methods of treating an HCV infection in a subject by administering a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compounds of the present invention.

  • Publication number: 20060204141
Abstract: One example embodiment provides a method and system converting image files from a roll scanner into a file format suitable for viewing the images in a roll format. The image processor receives the output files from the roll scanner. The image processor determines the orientation of the output images in relation to the roll they were taken from. A meta-data file including the proper orientation information is created and associated with the output images. The meta-data file includes information specifying the relative orientation and positioning of the output images.

  • Publication number: 20060204134
Abstract: One example embodiment provides a method and system presenting digital images files output from a roll scanner in a roll format. A viewer receives a meta-data file including orientation, positioning, presentation and/or identification information of image objects and associated image files. Presentation, orientation, and/or identification information is extracted from the meta-data file and loaded into the viewer, which presents the image objects in accordance with the extracted settings and presentation information.

  • Patent number: 7040161
Abstract: A parts washer including a receptacle positioned on a reservoir for cleaning liquid having a drain opening and a module which engages a portion of the reservoir in the cleaning liquid for adjusting the temperature of the cleaning liquid and circulating the cleaning liquid into the receptacle. The module includes a heating element, a sensor and pump. An enclosure houses a temperature controller which displays the temperature of the cleaning liquid and a low liquid level condition. A bridge thermally links the heating element to the sensor so that the sensor normally generates a signal representative of the temperature of the cleaning fluid unless the level of the cleaning fluid is disposed below the sensor.

  • Publication number: 20060003682
Abstract: A system and method of counting poultry carcasses conveyed by an overhead shackle conveying system. Poultry carcasses are suspended from shackles of an overhead conveying system and moved along a path of travel defined by the overhead conveying system. The carcasses are directed to engage a force detecting device. The force detecting device generates a signal, such as an electrical signal, when the impacted by a carcass, a magnitude of the electrical signal is proportional to a force of impact of the carcass on the force detecting device. The electrical signal is transmitted to a counter. The counter analyzes the electrical signal and increments a carcass count each time a force in a carcass identifying range is measured.

  • Patent number: 6322694
Abstract: An apparatus for removing floating and subsurface contaminants from a machine tool coolant bath is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a floating skimmer for collecting floating contaminants from the surface of the bath connected to an oil trap having an imperforate shell with a fluid tight column extending below the interface. A return conduit and a positive displacement pump are in series with the skimmer and oil trap. A submersible pump is disposed in the bath near the bottom for collection of water and water density contaminants and is connected to a remote filter assembly having a housing and a removable filter element. The filter assembly and the oil trap are both accessible without affecting the operation of the machine.
