  • Publication number: 20250073039
Abstract: A sacroiliac fusion implant device being unitarily formed in a single piece construction using an additive manufacturing process. The implant extends along a longitudinal axis. The implant has a central core, a first latticed volume and a second latticed volume. The central core has a proximal end, a distal end and a tube body disposed between the proximal end and the distal end. The central core has a lumen extending along the longitudinal axis from a proximal end opening to a distal end opening configured to pass over a guide wire or pin. The distal end is tapered extending to the distal end opening. The proximal end has external threads configured for instrument engagement. The tube body has three transverse elongated longitudinal slots or openings that extend across the lumen.

  • Patent number: 12223929
Abstract: A foldable acoustic guitar having a foldable neck assembly and a hollow body with at least one sound hole and a neck channel formed in the back for receiving a section of the neck assembly while the guitar is in a folded configuration. An actuator assembly is disposed in a recess formed in the body opposite the foldable neck. The actuator assembly serves to selectively loosen and tighten the strings in order to enable folding and unfolding of the guitar for travel/storage or play, respectively. While in the playing configuration, a user of the guitar may create any of a variety of musical notes by depressing the various strings between the various frets as known in the art. While in the folded configuration, a user can place the folded guitar in a backpack or other compact bag or carry-case for stress-free mobility or convenient storage.

  • Publication number: 20240390038
Abstract: A bone fixator as disclosed herein includes at least one removable portion, and is particularly suitable for external fixation of the bones of the femur and tibia (knee joint), the tibia to the foot (ankle joint), the lower leg, the lower thigh, or the forearm and hand. Embodiments allow multiaxial, multiplanar movement, as well as procurvatum and recurvatum, on the anatomy to achieve optimal placement. Embodiments of the fixator includes four fixator joints, each of which is articulating with multiple degrees of freedom. Some fixator joint(s) include a linkage bar connectable to a multi-pin clamp having a quick connect mechanism. The multi-pin clamp is configured for fixation to a bone. Other fixator joint(s) may be connected to the multi-pin clamp in a semi-permanent or non-detachable manner. A telescoping rod assembly allows adjustment of the length of the fixator by a single individual.

  • Patent number: 11369417
Abstract: A modular head polyaxial pedicle screw assembly has a pedicle bone screw, a tulip, a split locking ring and a saddle. The screw has a head and a threaded shank. The split locking ring has a split ring body with one or more positioning tabs extending from a first surface of the split ring body. The split ring locking ring is configured to be placed internal of the tulip positioned in a recess, groove or undercut of an inner surface of the tulip. Upon assembly of the pedicle screw into the tulip, at least a maximum diameter of the head is positioned above the recess, groove or undercut allowing the split locking ring to be inserted into the recess or groove thereby securing the pedicle screw inside the tulip wherein the head of the pedicle screw abuts the one or more positioning tabs.

  • Publication number: 20210251776
Abstract: An expandable interbody fusion implant device has a frame, two ramp assemblies, a threaded drive shaft and at least one base plate, preferably two. The frame has a first lateral side and a second lateral side and a distal end and a proximal end. Each ramp assembly has a translating ramp with a threaded opening, a first pivoting hinged ramp and a second pivoting hinged ramp. Each base plate is hinged to a first lateral side of the frame. Each base plate is hinged to the distal ramp assembly and the proximal ramp assembly at an end of one of said pivoting hinged ramps of each ramp assembly. The drive shaft has a distal drive shaft component having threads for translating the distal ramp assembly and a proximal drive shaft component having threads for translating the proximal ramp assembly.

  • Publication number: 20200345511
Abstract: An expandable interbody fusion implant device has a frame, two ramp assemblies and two overlying base plates driven by two independent drive shafts. The two ramp assemblies include a distal ramp assembly and a proximal ramp assembly. Each ramp assembly has a translating ramp, a first pivoting hinged ramp and a second pivoting hinged ramp. The two overlying base plates include a first base plate overlying a second base plate. Each base plate is hinged to the distal ramp assembly and the proximal ramp assembly at an end of one of said pivoting hinged ramps of each ramp assembly. The two independently driven drive shafts include a first drive shaft for translating the distal ramp assembly and a second drive shaft for translating the proximal ramp assembly to independently expand the implant proximally or distally or both.
