  • Patent number: 11951218
Abstract: A sterilization enclosure to be placed within a sterilizer, the sterilization enclosure defining an interior for accommodating at least one surgical instrument and maintaining sterility of the at least one surgical instrument after the sterilization enclosure is removed from the sterilizer. The enclosure comprising a light source and a transparent window. The light source to illuminate the interior and the transparent window positioned such that the interior and the at least one surgical instrument are visible through the transparent window. A process indicator that is either disposed within the interior or coupled to an external surface of the sterilization enclosure. The process indicator in fluid communication with the interior of the sterilization enclosure such that the process indicator is exposed to a sterilant agent disposed within the interior of the sterilization enclosure to measure a characteristic within the interior during a sterilization process.

  • Patent number: 4584719
Abstract: Workstations may advantageously be interconnected in a cluster arrangement wherein multiple "slave" stations utilize the database which exists in a "master" unit. The cluster interface has been implemented as a wired system but the latter involves significant limitations as to distance between units, electrical noise restricting data transmission rates and the protection of sensitive data from compromise. The fiber optic interface module of the present invention eliminates the foregoing limitations by translating the electrical signals of the wired system into optical signals for transmission and restoring them to electrical signals at a receiving unit.

  • Patent number: 4243890
Abstract: The present disclosure describes an isolator/switching assembly for use in a message terminal system. The assembly permits a pair of electronic data processors, one on-line and the other a back-up unit, each processing confidential or so called "red" data, to interface with each other and both units to interface with and control a common peripheral device or I/O port. At the same time, the assembly provides physical and electrical isolation between the processor and the peripheral device and insures the TEMPEST security of the entire system.
