    Abstract: A semi-trailer aerodynamic drag deflection assembly for reducing aerodynamic drag upon all surfaces of the semi-trailer includes a pair of interior walls positioned against a respective one of a pair of lateral surfaces of a semi-trailer. A plurality of vents is positioned from an inner surface to an outer surface of the interior wall. A pair of exterior walls is positioned against a respective one of the pair of interior walls. An outside surface of each of the exterior walls has a plurality of indents for deflecting wind An undercarriage has a pair of side walls with a storage being positioned between each of the side walls. Each of the side walls has a plurality of fins directing aerodynamic drag from the bottom surface of the semi-trailer into each of the vents of each of the interior walls. A pair of doors provides access to the storage of the undercarriage.

    Abstract: An in-vessel fuel transfer machine may be permanently affixed to a nuclear reactor and remain in place during power operations. The in-vessel fuel transfer machine may include a pantograph machine that positions a grapple in order to access any fuel socket location within the core and move any of the core assemblies between the core, an in-vessel fuel storage area, and a fuel elevator. The grapple may be positioned through a combination of movements, such as, rotating a rotating plug assembly, rotating the in-vessel fuel transfer machine, extending the pantograph arms, and shuttling the grapple along a leg. The grapple may be compliant to accommodate deformed core assemblies and may be configured to pivot to more closely align to an eccentric core assembly handling socket or be moveable in a horizontal plane to accommodate a deformed core assembly during insertion or withdrawal.

    Abstract: Compositions comprising post-consumer recyclate polyolefins are described herein. The post-consumer recyclate are blended with virgin resin using a compatibilizer and an impact modifier. The resulting blends showed improved physical properties compared with compositions not containing compatibilizers and/or the impact modifier. The variability in physical properties upon addition of compatibilizer and impact modifier allows for selection of resins to produce blended resins with desired physical properties for a wider range of applications than was previously possible with recycled plastics.

    Abstract: A spindle bearing assembly for a rotor blade, the assembly having a shaft extending from a hub and a housing for coupling the blade to the shaft. A ring is coaxial with the shaft and has a wall with a tapered external surface that narrows toward the outboard direction. The ring can be axially translated adjacent a tapered internal surface of the housing that also narrows toward the outboard direction. A spindle bearing coaxial with the shaft has a central aperture through which the shaft extends, the spindle bearing extending between the wall and the shaft. Threaded fasteners couple the ring to the housing, and rotation of the fasteners in a selected direction causes axial translation of the ring in the outboard direction, the engagement of the tapered surfaces causing the wall to move radially inward for creating an interference fit between the spindle bearing and the wall.

An elastomeric nozzle is coupled to the first inlet and positioned around the second inlet, the elastomeric nozzle structured to combine the blowby gas stream with the compressed gas such that the compressed gas causes the blowby gas stream to flow at a second flow velocity that is greater than the first flow velocity. An impaction plate is disposed downstream of the elastomeric nozzle such that the blowby gas stream impacts the impaction plate and separates liquid and aerosol contained in the blowby gas stream.
