  • Publication number: 20200379974
Abstract: A method is provided for preventing dark data in a data set. At a time t1, a first version of the data set is received. The first version is analyzed and its parameters are gathered in a first statistical profile. The first statistical profile is stored. At a time t2, a second version of the data set is received. The second version is analyzed and its parameters are gathered in a second statistical profile. The second statistical profile is stored. The first and second statistical profiles are compared and a similarity index is created. If the similarity index exceeds a pre-set threshold, dissimilarity is flagged and a responsive action is taken.

  • Publication number: 20200218734
Abstract: A method is provided for ingesting datasets into existing data warehouses, which are associated with data warehouse references. A selection of a data warehouse reference into which a dataset is to be loaded is received from a user. The dataset is accessed and its regional and format particulars are determined. Available data warehouses associated with the selected data warehouse reference are determined. Based on the regional and format particulars, a data warehouse is selected from these available data warehouses. A current address of the selected data warehouse is retrieved. The dataset is ingested directly into the selected data warehouse at the current address without further input from the user or knowledge of the current address by the user. A method of migrating between existing data warehouses with ingested data is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10667087
Abstract: Reception and transmission from at least two sets of antenna ports on a high speed train are controlled, wherein the at least two sets of antenna ports are installed at different locations on the high speed train. This involves determining a velocity and the position of each of the antenna ports, and using these as a basis for determining a reception combining scheme and/or transmission scheme from the sets of antenna ports. Signals are transmitted and received from the sets of antenna ports in conformance with the determined reception combining and/or transmission scheme.

  • Publication number: 20190255202
Abstract: A device and system for sterilizing objects, commonly dental, medical, or veterinary instruments, having a double door configuration that can provide entry of contaminated instruments into a sterilizer from a contaminated area and subsequently, post-sterilization, their pass-through directly into a sterile area through an exit door from said sterilizer. More specifically, the invention is a countertop, high velocity, dry heat sterilization device that is readily adaptable for those clinical areas requiring separation of contaminated and sterile areas for the processing of medical, dental, or veterinary instruments. The sterilization device utilizes a dual airflow pathway and a controlled heat delivery system to deliver to the sterilization chamber the supply air having temperature uniformity and air velocity required of the high velocity dry heat sterilization process.

  • Publication number: 20190219300
Abstract: An air damper assembly for an air duct having an interior wall and an exterior wall is provided. The air damper assembly includes a damper plate having a periphery and multiple teeth spaced at least partially around and extending from the periphery. The multiple teeth vary in length from a maximum to a minimum over a span of approximately 90 degrees around the periphery. The air damper assembly further includes an axle assembly fixedly coupled to the damper plate and rotatably coupled to the air duct. Rotation of the axle assembly causes the damper plate to rotate within the air duct between a fully open position and a fully closed position to increase or decrease a flow of fluid through the air duct.

  • Patent number: 10306556
Abstract: An access point device comprising a transceiver configured to receive and send messages on a communication channel, and a controller configured to cause the transceiver to transmit beacon messages regularly on the communication channel is disclosed. The beacon messages include a first indication that data, for one or more stations arranged to communicate with the access point device over the communication channel, is buffered in a buffer associated with the access point device when data is buffered in the buffer. The transceiver is arranged to transmit at least one utility message, transmitted over the communication channel between transmissions of the beacon messages, wherein the at least one utility message comprises a second indication for at least one of the one or more stations as to whether an upcoming beacon message comprises the first indication that data for the at least one of the one or more stations is buffered in the buffer.
