The oil phase includes one or more linear (i.e., unbranched) fatty esters, such as cetyl palmitate. The oil phase can further include at least one branched fatty esters, such as ethylhexyl palmitate and/or isocetyl stearate.

Abstract: An aerosol oil foam composition having at least one triglyceride-based oil and at least one polyglyceryl fatty acid ester surfactant. The polyglyceryl fatty acid ester surfactant includes an alkyl group having at least 10 carbon atoms and having a hydrophile-lipophile balance of between about 8 and about 13. The aerosol oil foam composition is a stable foam that is water rinsable. An aerosol oil-containing foamable composition and a process for cleansing skin, scalp or hair are also disclosed.

Abstract: A skin care composition and a method for treating skin, the method including the step of individually displaying a plurality of visual skin guides to a consumer. Each of the visual skin guides includes a plurality of visual representations of a categorical skin condition. Each of the visual representations correspond to a severity score for the categorical skin condition on the visual skin guide. The method further includes providing a skin care system that includes a base oil composition and one or more booster compositions selected based on the severity score for each of the categorical skin conditions for each of the visual skin guides that represent the customer's current skin condition. The booster compositions and oil base formulations are individually packaged and the booster compositions are readily dispersible in the oil base formulation.

The cleansing compositions exhibit very good cleansing properties, are particularly effective for removing makeup, and are mild and moisturizing to the skin.

The method includes obtaining information from a customer regarding current skin conditions, analyzing the information to identify a plurality of target skin conditions in response to the current skin conditions, correlating booster compositions to the target skin conditions, the booster compositions including active ingredients corresponding to the target skin conditions, and assembling a skin care kit, the skin care kit including a base oil composition and a plurality of booster compositions having actives corresponding to the target skin conditions. The base oil composition and plurality of boosters are mixable to obtain a treatment composition at any point in time prior to application to skin.
