    Abstract: A trigger actuated aerosol spray cleaning device having a cleaning head mounted by a quick disconnect coupler to be independently pivotal about at least two axes. In one form, the coupler has a body with a socket receiving a plug end of the cleaning device which is retained by a button actuated, spring biased latching ring preventing axial separation from the coupler until the button is depressed. In another form, spring biased opposing jaws releasably clamp the head to the device. A swivel member pivotally mounts to either the coupler body or opposing jaws along one axis and to the cleaning head at a second axis. The swivel action in either case can be temporarily disabled by a sliding locking feature.

    Abstract: A trigger actuated cleaning device includes an adjustable retainer assembly for alternately holding a full-size or compact aerosol spay canister, thereby allowing the device to be used as a mop with an extension wand and a large canister or a wandless hand-held device with a small canister. The retainer has a “ski-boot” configuration with a heel assembly slidable on a fixed rail having a spring biased latch engaging the rim at the bottom of the canister and clamping it against a toe stop, which is configured to align the canister with a trigger operated actuator. The heel assembly slides and locks in position for either a full-size or compact canister to snap into the device. The canister is removed by depressing a thumb operated release lever which clears the latch from the canister.

The stem is either formed integrally with the over cap or is removably attached to a stem socket formed in the over cap. In another form the actuator is a button having a stem that fits in the female valve.

    Abstract: The invention is an automated sprayer for spraying the walls of a bath and shower enclosure with a cleanser. The sprayer has a housing that can be mounted inside the shower enclosure and that defines a tray in which an inverted bottle of cleanser is stored. The bottom of the tray has a tube extending downwardly along a longitudinal axis through which the cleanser can pass. A motorized head disposed beneath the tube can be rotated about the axis for metering cleanser from the bottle and spraying cleanser outward. The sprayer includes timer circuitry that delays commencement of a spray for a set time and automatically stops spraying after a predetermined period. The sprayer also includes a system for signaling the beginning of a spray cycle including audio and visual alarms. An automated method of cleaning the shower enclosure is also disclosed.

    Abstract: Cleaning devices are disclosed which can rapidly be reconfigured from an elongated mop, to an intermediate size upper wall cleaner, to a shorter window cleaner. A common aerosol canister support and actuator and a common cleaning head are used. The device can be triggered by either a trigger on the support, or by a remote trigger on a separate handle. An extension wand can connect the remote handle to the canister support. Linkages between the handle, wand and support are via a quick disconnect coupler allowing rapid disassembly and assembly while permitting triggering components to act through the joint created by the coupler.

    Abstract: A trigger actuated aerosol spray cleaning device is disclosed that has a removable snap-on cleaning head. The cleaning head can be snapped onto a handle by simple linear movement, and then can be removed by sliding a button. In one form, there is a lower connector on a mop handle that has two pivot pins biased apart by a spring. The pins have cammed ends that can be driven in towards each other as the mop handle is pressed against a receiver portion of the cleaning head. The cleaning head can then be removed by sliding a button connected to one of the pins to dislodge that pin from its pivot mount.

    Abstract: A trigger actuated aerosol spray cleaning device has a cleaning head that swivel or be locked in different preset discrete angular positions relative to the device. The cleaning head pivotally mounts onto a swivel part of a coupler at and end of the device. In one position, a sliding swivel lock permits rotation of the swivel and in a locking position it prevents relative rotation by engaging one of several slots in the swivel. The slots are located so that the cleaning head can be centered (perpendicular) relative to the device or held at an oblique angle as may be desired for cleaning corners or other tight spaces.

    Abstract: A liquid dispenser for dispensing a liquid from the rim of a toilet bowl such that a controlled, consistent amount of liquid is dispensed into each flush is disclosed. The liquid dispenser includes a bottle for holding the liquid, a base for holding the bottle and for providing a liquid feed conduit between the bottle and a dispensing plate, and a hook for suspending the base from the rim of the toilet bowl. The dispensing plate is integral with or attached to the base, and serves to distribute liquid from the feed conduit to a dispensing position on the upper surface of the dispensing plate where the liquid is contacted by flushing water from the toilet bowl. The dispensing plate has various configurations that assist in the distribution of the liquid to the dispensing position on the upper surface of the dispensing plate.
