  • Publication number: 20220015492
Abstract: A method for fabricating a strengthened plastic shell of a safety helmet and a helmet structure fabricated using the method are disclosed. The method includes providing at least one fiber layer and at least one shell that has a thin, flat structure; binding the fiber layer to the shell to form a preform; heating and pressing the preform with a first forming module, so that at least some local, surface texture of the shell is fused with or interlaced with the fiber layer to form an assembly that has a helmet-like shape (or contour); and arranging a foam material at an inner surface of the assembly and attaching the foam material over the inner surface of the assembly using a second forming module, thereby forming a helmet structure. The method makes the overall fabrication less complicated and less time-consuming as compared to the prior art.

  • Patent number: 10588372
Abstract: A multilayered floatable universal shock absorption system of safety helmet includes a main shell body, a subsidiary shell body, an elastic structure body floatably enclosed between the main shell body and the subsidiary shell body and a filling body. The upper and lower sections of the elastic structure body are respectively formed with multiple assembling sections and the main and subsidiary shell bodies are formed with multiple pivotal connection sections floatably correspondingly assembled with the assembling sections. An anchor unit is at least locally positioned between the assembling sections (or the main shell body and subsidiary shell body) in adjacency to each other. The filling body is bonded with the subsidiary shell body to form an integrated form. The structural strength of the entire assembly is enhanced to achieve multiple floatable universal cushioning, rotational torque absorption and external impact force transmission effects.

  • Publication number: 20180255861
Abstract: A universal anti-collision structure of safety helmet includes a shell body, a filling body and an elastic carrier body enclosed in and assembled with the shell body. The elastic carrier body has multiple walls defining multiple well-shaped structure sections with a geometrical configuration. The peripheral section of each well-shaped structure section is formed with wing sections (protruding toward the center of the well-shaped structure section). Accordingly, the well-shaped structure section is defined with a first section, a second section and a subsidiary section connected between the first and second sections. The filling body is bonded with the shell body and the elastic carrier body to together form an integrated assembly. The elastic carrier body can be flexibly deformed in accordance with different head configurations so as to fully enclose the head, cushion, absorb and transmit the external impact force.

  • Patent number: 9814279
Abstract: An integrally formed safety helmet structure includes an assembly of a helmet shell or a shell body, a foam filling body enclosed in the shell body and a structure body. Geometrical array texture structures are disposed at the assembling interfaces between the shell body, the structure body and the foam filling body. In manufacturing, by means of a mold or molding module and solid foaming technique, the foam filling body is integrally formed to bond with the shell body and the structure body and the geometrical array texture structures so as to form a compact and rigid multilayer complex reinforcement structure. The complex reinforcement structure not only can enhance the structural strength of the entire safety helmet, but also has the advantages of material-saving, lightweight, high security and easy manufacturing.

  • Patent number: 9210962
Abstract: A reinforcement structure of safety helmet and a manufacturing method thereof. The reinforcement structure includes a helmet body formed of a cushion foam material; and a structure body integrated with the helmet body. The structure body is a texture at least composed of multiple strip members arranged in an array. The structure body is formed with a substantially cellular structure. The helmet body is defined with a top section and a peripheral section and the structure body is defined with a first section and a second section connected to the first section corresponding to the top section and peripheral section of the helmet body. The cushion foam material is injected into a molding module to enclose the first and second sections to form an integrated complex reinforcement structure, which is easier to manufacture and has higher structural strength, lighter weight and higher security.

  • Patent number: 8851569
Abstract: A full-cover and light-weight child safety seat is disclosed, capable of improving the difficulties in manufacturing and assembling processes in conventional skills. The safety seat includes a first hard layer, a second hard layer, a body (or a cushion portion) formed by foaming expansion material and a wall formed on a peripheral zones of the body. The body is defined with an inner end surface coated with the first hard layer and an outer end surface covered by the second hard layer so that the foaming expansion material (or the body), the first hard layer and the second hard layer are snuggly and firmly formed in a composite state, thereby improving the improper conditions in conventional skills, such as carry or deliver inconvenience caused by larger thickness/volume and heavier weight for the purpose of obtaining sufficient strength.

  • Patent number: 8782818
Abstract: A safety helmet structure and a processing method thereof. The safety helmet includes a first section, a second section and an extension section defined between the first and second sections. The first section is sprayed with a figure. A decorative section or a figure layers is adhered to the second section. After a periphery of the decorative section or figure layer partially passes over an edge of the second section, the periphery of the decorative section or figure layer enters the extension section. The first and second sections together form a helmet subassembly. The helmet subassembly is placed in a mold and integrally bonded with a buffer material or foam material filler to form a helmet assembly.

  • Patent number: 8742917
Abstract: A warning triangle has a simplified structure and is operable in accordance with the requirement of energy saving and manufactured at lower cost. The warning triangle structure includes a first board body, a second board body and a third board body, which are assembled with each other. Each of the board bodies has a first face and a second face, which together define an internal cavity. At least one light source and a light guide strip for guiding light are disposed in the cavity. The second and third board bodies are pivotally connected with movable stands for supporting the warning triangle in use. The second and third board bodies can be selectively collapsed onto the first and second faces of the first board body to minimize the volume of the warning triangle.
