  • Patent number: 8556484
Abstract: A freely plastically flexible light-emitting strip structure, which is a hollow light guide strip body made of transparent material. The light guide strip body is formed with at least one axial internal chamber. A plastically flexible strip body is implanted in the internal chamber. Recessed/raised sections are formed on a wall of the internal chamber for changing light path. When a light source projects light into the internal chamber, the recessed/raised sections deflect or reflect the projected light, whereby the light guide strip body can emit light outward. The plastically flexible strip body makes the light guide strip body plastically flexible and self-patternable. Accordingly, the configuration of the light guide strip body is freely adjustable in accordance with the requirements of use sites so as to enlarge application range and provide enhanced decorative or warning effect.

  • Publication number: 20130076084
Abstract: A full-cover and light-weight child safety seat is disclosed, capable of improving the difficulties in manufacturing and assembling processes in conventional skills. The safety seat includes a first hard layer, a second hard layer, a body (or a cushion portion) formed by foaming expansion material and a wall formed on a peripheral zones of the body. The body is defined with an inner end surface coated with the first hard layer and an outer end surface covered by the second hard layer so that the foaming expansion material (or the body), the first hard layer and the second hard layer are snuggly and firmly formed in a composite state, thereby improving the improper conditions in conventional skills, such as carry or deliver inconvenience caused by larger thickness/volume and heavier weight for the purpose of obtaining sufficient strength.

  • Publication number: 20120188071
Abstract: A warning triangle has a simplified structure and is operable in accordance with the requirement of energy saving and manufactured at lower cost. The warning triangle structure includes a first board body, a second board body and a third board body, which are assembled with each other. Each of the board bodies has a first face and a second face, which together define an internal cavity. At least one light source and a light guide strip for guiding light are disposed in the cavity. The second and third board bodies are pivotally connected with movable stands for supporting the warning triangle in use. The second and third board bodies can be selectively collapsed onto the first and second faces of the first board body to minimize the volume of the warning triangle.

  • Patent number: 8218938
Abstract: A light guide strip structure with neon effect, which is manufactured at lower cost and can be used with the bright-and-dark stripes or diffraction and interference between the light rays minimized. The light guide strip structure includes a transparent main body having a light-scattering surface and a color band disposed in the main body. The color band has a reflective index greater than that of the main body, whereby most of the light is reflected back to the main body and only a minor part of the light enters the color band to create neon effect. The light entering the main body substantially travels along an axis thereof. The light is refracted and reflected between the main body and the color band and scattered from the surface of the main body to enhance brightness and overcome the problem of vagueness.

  • Patent number: 8136959
Abstract: A light-emitting strip structure with light guiding effect, which is a hollow light guide strip body made of transparent material. The light guide strip body is formed with at least one axial internal chamber. Recessed/raised sections are formed on a wall of the internal chamber for changing light path. When a light source projects light into the internal chamber, the recessed/raised sections will deflect or reflect the projected light, whereby the light guide strip body can emit light outward. A color bar or a light reflection strip is implanted in the internal chamber. In addition, a light absorption material is sprayed on the wall of the internal chamber or a photosensitive gas is filled in the internal chamber. Accordingly, the light guide strip body can emit colorful light in various patterns so as to provide enhanced decorative or warning effect. The light guide strip body is flexible and antishock.

  • Patent number: 8091148
Abstract: A fixing structure for safety helmet fastening strap, including a frame body mounted under a bottom of a helmet shell. The frame body has multiple fixing seats each of which is formed with a passage and an opening through which a fastening strap can pass. The fixing seat has arms extending from the fixing seat. The fixing seats are securely connected with the frame body with better load capability. Accordingly, the fixing seats can bear the extrusion force of the injection molded foam material without deflection or displacement. The helmet shell, the frame body and the fixing seats are bonded with a foam material filler to together form an integrated body. The arms of the fixing seats help the fixing seats and the frame body to hold the foam material filler.

  • Patent number: 8070307
Abstract: A light-emitting warning device of a safety helmet, including a helmet main body, a light guide element and a light source control mechanism. An annular locating groove and a receiving cavity are formed on an outer face of the helmet main body. Two end sections of the locating groove communicate with the receiving cavity via two through holes formed in the helmet main body. An elongated flexible strip body is received in the locating groove. Two end sections of the light guide element extend through the through holes into the receiving cavity to connect with the light source control mechanism. The light source control mechanism projects light into the light guide element, and emits as a lighting ring along the periphery of the helmet main body. The light guide element communicates with an interior of the helmet main body to avoid dropping.
