The hair strands of each bundle are folded such that the first and second ends are substantially aligned with each other at the distal end while a substantial mid-point of the hair strands form a loop at the proximal end. The packaging also includes a plurality of retaining members with the loop of each bundle positioned within a retaining member. A securing member secures the plurality of retaining members together. The packaging also includes a backing member. The securing member is fixed to the backing member such that the hair product is positioned on the backing member and displayed.

    Abstract: A double loop hair extension which is attached to growing hair, such as cornrows of hair, is attached by placing the hair extension around the growing hair and tying a knot. The knot is tied by extending an un-looped or lower section of the hair extension through both loops and tightening. This method can be carried out for a hair extension being attached to hair or any flexible material tied to another flexible material. In this manner, a double-typing akin to a double-knot can be created with a single action. The double loops, in embodiments, are formed from the same length of hair or strands of hair which is twisted upon itself creating the loops.

The removal of the stick or pole created a hollow interior, with the portal on one end of the hair extension and tapering of the other end. One can then attach the hair extension to hair. The hair extension is light weight by virtue of the hollow interior and can return to its original shape, structure, and length when forces acting on the tapered end stretch the length of the extension.
