Abstract: Disclosed herein is an electronic shelf label system. The electronic shelf label system includes a plurality of electronic tags that are installed on a product display stand and confirms the residual amount of a battery to turn-on a battery warning light when the residual amount is smaller than a reference voltage and transmits replacement request signals to inform the replacement time of the battery; and a wired/wireless communication converter that relays information between the electronic tags and a server and transmits the replacement request signals received from the electronic tags to be relayed thereby to the server. The electronic shelf label system of the present invention can intuitively and easily confirm the timing when the battery of the electronic is replaced, thereby making it possible to improve the efficiency in the working of replacing the battery.

Abstract: The electronic shelf label system includes a management server unit storing product information regarding a product, a gateway unit including a plurality of gateways receiving a message containing the product information from the management server unit, and a plurality of electronic shelf label tag units communicating with the gateways, respectively, the plurality of electronic shelf label tag units each including a plurality of electronic shelf label tags receiving the product information from the gateway and displaying the received product information. The management server unit includes a database storing tag information regarding the electronic shelf label tags and product information displayed on the electronic shelf label tags such that the tag information and the product information are linked together.

Abstract: A system using a packet network in a mobile communication system is provided, in which a home BTS provides a mobile communication service to an MS using a packet network as a backhaul network, a home BTS manager provides information necessary for providing the mobile communication services to the home BTS and manages the home BTS, a security gateway resides between the home BTS and upper network elements and protects a network of the mobile communication system against the packet network, a WSS performs a call control and mobility control function for the MS through the home BTS, and a WGW transcodes voice data transmitted from the MS via the home BTS.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for tracking a location of a UE by using an integrated GPS and TDOA scheme in a mobile communication network are provided. A GPS position solution of the UE is obtained using GPS code information. TDOA position solutions are obtained using pilot signal transmission times of BSs and pilot signal reception times of the UE, and an average value of the TDOA position solutions is calculated. The GPS position solution is subtracted from the average to obtain a position error value, and an iterative method using a least square method is performed for the position error value to correct the position error. The corrected position error value is added to the average value of the TDOA position solutions to obtain a more precise position solution.
