  • Patent number: 11928713
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may match transportation requestor devices to transportation provider devices pre-request by using the same matching process employed by a matching engine that is capable of predicting transportation swaps and walks. Multiple matches may be showcased on user devices, and offline transportation providers may see an exact match to a requestor, with an ability to go online and accept the pre-request match. Additional techniques disclosed include the curation and presentation of offers using constraint space partitioning and adjustment of price and/or the presentation of offers based on real-time information to improve the efficiency and/or utilization of transportation provider resources.

  • Patent number: 11921500
Abstract: Technology for generating and displaying a graphical user interface for operating an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is disclosed herein that generates and updates a representation of a spline flight path. In various implementations, a graphical user interface detects user interactions with a remote control device directing the flight control subsystem of the UAV to record keyframes and to compute a spline based on the keyframes during flight. The graphical user interface displays a real-time perspective of the UAV with a representation of the spline and the keyframes overlaying the view. The graphical user interface continually updates the representation as the UAV flies and when the spline is updated as the keyframes are updated.

  • Publication number: 20230385713
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include instant and optimized matching of transportation requesters with transportation providers by precomputing and caching evaluations of matching schemes between existing requests and available providers, where each of the matching schemes excludes one of the available providers. The possibility of matching any new request to a given provider may then be evaluated according to the cached results of the matching scheme that excluded that provider along with an evaluation of matching the new request to the provider, which may be a computationally easy problem. Thus, the new request may be matched to a provider instantly without waiting for the next iteration of solving the global matching problem. Matching requestors and providers in this way may also improve the accuracy of estimated time of arrival information provided to requestors. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11793215
Abstract: A method and apparatus for maximizing the creation of value-added ingredient and feed products from an independently controlled variable flow of an incoming viscera stream at a modular facility attached to a carcass processing facility. A measured flow rate signal is used to control processing of an incoming viscera stream. Flow rates exceeding a minimum flow rate are directed to finished feed processing equipment. Flow rates below the minimum flow rate are directed to an ingredient stream. Both viscera-based ingredient product and viscera-based final feed can be stored and transported without refrigeration.

  • Publication number: 20230320379
Abstract: An automated method for processing a variable flow of an incoming viscera stream from a carcass processing facility. A cooling fluid is used to convey and cool the incoming viscera stream from an eviscerating site to an attached modular facility. The viscera stream is directed by the cooling fluid towards a divert valve and diverted between modular facilities based on a comparison of the flow rate of the incoming viscera stream with the processing capacity of the modular facility. The divert valve can divert the viscera stream to finished feed processing equipment when flow rates exceed a minimum flow rate. Flow rates below the minimum flow rate are directed to an ingredient stream. A cooked product of the viscera stream can be cooled using wastewater from the cooling fluid. The cooled product can be stored without refrigeration at the modular facility.

  • Patent number: 11745541
Abstract: A liner plate for a work machine has a frame with a frame surface and an axle opening, and a guard member at least partially disposed above the axle opening. The guard member has a lower face, a region of the frame surface and a region of the lower face define a volume. The liner plate includes a body portion defining an upper surface and a lower surface opposite to the upper surface. The body portion defines a first side surface and a second side surface. The body portion is adapted to be coupled to the frame surface proximate the first side surface. The body portion is adapted to be coupled to the guard member proximate the second side surface. Further, upon coupling of the body portion to the frame surface and the guard member, the body portion prevents at least some debris from entering the volume.

  • Patent number: 11733046
Abstract: Methods and systems for generating multi-modal transportation proposals are presented. In one embodiment, a system is provided that includes a processor and a memory storing instructions. The processor may execute the instructions to receive a request for transportation from an origin location to a destination location and to generate a proposal identifying a route between the origin location and destination location. Generating the proposal may include determining a primary modality for a primary segment with a primary starting location and a primary ending location. A starting portion may be identified from the origin location to the primary starting location and an ending portion may be identified from the primary ending location to the destination location. A secondary modality may be identified for transportation along the starting portion and/or the ending portion. The primary and secondary modality may be assigned to the proposal, which may be transmitted to a mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11733049
Abstract: Methods and systems for detecting when users deviate from a provided transportation route and for correcting the transportation route in response to such user deviations is presented. In one embodiment, a method is provided including detecting a changed condition for a transportation route between a first location and a second location. The transportation route may include multiple transportation segments. A first transportation segment designating a first modality may be identified, wherein the changed condition decreases a likelihood that vehicles associated with the first modality will be available to service the first transportation segment. In response, a second transportation segment designating a second modality different from the first modality is generated. The first transportation segment is then replaced with the second transportation segment in the transportation route.

  • Patent number: 11703336
Abstract: Methods and systems for planning and creating transportation routes with multiple modalities are provided. In one embodiment, a method is provided that includes receiving a transportation request that includes a first location and a second location. A transportation proposal may then be generated including a route for transportation between the first location and the second location. The method may then include determining modalities available to provide transportation and determining respective transportation segments for the modalities, and at least a subset of the transportation segments may be combined to form the route for transportation. The transportation proposal, including the route for transportation, may then be transmitted for display on a mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20230153654
Abstract: Systems and methods of selecting machine learning models/algorithms for a candidate dataset are disclosed. A computer system may access historical data of a set of algorithms applied to a set of benchmark datasets; select a first algorithm of the set of algorithms; apply the first algorithm to an input dataset to create a model of the input dataset; evaluate and store results of the applying; and add the first algorithm to a set of tried algorithms. The computer system may select a next algorithm of the algorithm set via submodular optimization based on the historical data and the set of tried algorithms; apply the next algorithm to the input dataset; capture a next result based on the applying; add the next result to update the set of tried algorithms; and repeat the submodular optimization. The procedure may continue until a termination condition is reached.

  • Publication number: 20230068492
Abstract: The present application discloses systems, methods, and computer-readable media that can intelligently generate a graphical user interface (GUI) having expandable and/or collapsible interface elements that flexibly, efficiently, and accurately provide transportation mode options and transportation sub-options on a computing device. For example, based on monitored transportation features of provider devices and requestor devices, the disclosed systems can dynamically determine a first tier of transportation mode option interface elements and a second tier of transportation sub-option interface elements within accordion-based elements that are operable to display and hide the second tier.
