    Abstract: An automatic medication dispenser is disclosed which dispenses medication serially at preselected time intervals. The medication may be retrieved by the patient within a grace period after which time the medication returns to an inaccessible location within the device. The apparatus includes an endless chain of containers holding prepackaged medications which are moved sequentially under the control of a programmable timer from within the device to a presentation position accessible to the patient.
