  • Patent number: 11680669
Abstract: A conduit assembly for a separation device is described herein. The conduit assembly includes a first conduit segment, a second conduit segment, and a removable flow control insert or cartridge, which may be easily installed and uninstalled without removing other components of the conduit assembly from the separation device. The flow control insert may be installed within a top opening of the second conduit segment and includes a projection that extends into the conduit assembly and obstructs or restricts fluid flow at the juncture between the first and second conduit segments.

  • Patent number: 10315135
Abstract: A conduit assembly of a gravity separation device having specialized joint structure for mating first and second conduits to permit easier removal of the first conduit. The first conduit may include a snout having a tube and a collar positioned at an end of the tube. The collar may include a flange extending outward from a center of the tube. The second conduit may have a main body and a saddle at an end of the main body. The saddle may include a track shaped to receive the flange of the collar of the first conduit. The saddle may also have a resiliently separable gateway comprising two opposing projections configured for receiving therebetween and partially enclosing the tube of the snout.

  • Publication number: 20180037476
Abstract: A field-adjustable separation device including a base and a sidewall cooperatively defining a separation compartment. The device includes an inlet conduit attached to a first portion of the sidewall and an outlet conduit having a first segment including a distal end of the outlet conduit removably attached to a second portion of the sidewall substantially opposite the first portion. The outlet conduit also has a second segment fluidly interposed between the first segment and the separation compartment. The second segment includes a sectioned portion defining a plurality of pre-determined locations spaced along the second segment. The first segment is in fluid communication with an exterior of the separation compartment. The second segment is configured for adjustment to define an outlet orifice according to the plurality of pre-determined locations to provide fluid communication between the first segment and the separation compartment.
