  • Publication number: 20190288833
Abstract: A system and a method for the system for securing private cryptographic keys behind a biometric gateway is disclosed. The system receives one or more private cryptographic keys from a user. The system tokenizes the one or more private cryptographic keys and associates fragment identifiers. The token values are encrypted utilizing biometric input from the user to generate cryptographic values. The cryptographic values and associated fragment identifiers are transmitted to the blockchain where they are recorded as transactions. The user's biometric input is utilized as signature for each of the records. The user utilizes the biometric input to retrieve, decode, and reassemble the private cryptographic key from the blockchain.

  • Patent number: 10410493
Abstract: An alarm configuration system simplifies alarm management in industrial control systems by improving scalability and capacity of alarms. A control system device allows alarms to be configured by associating the alarm conditions with controller tags or other components of a control system. Properties of these alarm conditions can be referenced by external systems as well as programmatically as extensions of the associated controller tag or component. The alarm conditions are evaluated independently of the control program executed by the control device. A development system allows association of reusable user-defined alarm conditions with selected data types, such that the alarm conditions are automatically applied to controller tags of the selected data type. Selected alarm conditions can also be grouped into alarm sets, allowing operations to be performed collectively on the set of alarms. The system can also generate collective alarm statistics for the alarm conditions included in an alarm set.

  • Patent number: 10176102
Abstract: Systems and methods for a content addressable cache that is optimized for SSD use are disclosed. In some embodiments, the cache utilizes an identifier array where identification information is stored for each entry in the cache. However, the size of the bit field used for the identification information is not sufficient to uniquely identify the data stored at the associated entry in the cache. A smaller bit field increases the likelihood of a “false positive”, where the identification information indicates a cache hit when the actual data does not match the digest. A larger bit field decreases the probability of a “false positive”, at the expense of increased metadata memory space. Thus, the architecture allows for a compromise between metadata memory size and processing cycles.
