    Abstract: A resonance detection system includes a vibration simulation mechanism and a vibration audio analysis device. The vibration simulation mechanism includes a mechanism body that accommodates a peripheral interface device. The vibration simulation mechanism generates a vibration wave to the peripheral interface device. The peripheral interface device generates a vibration audio signal in response to the vibration wave. The vibration audio analysis device is electrically connected with the vibration simulation mechanism. After the vibration audio signal is inputted into the vibration audio analysis device, the vibration audio analysis device judges whether there is an abnormal resonance phenomenon in the vibration audio signal. The vibration simulation mechanism further includes a patch-type audio collector, which is electrically connected with the vibration audio analysis device. The patch-type audio collector is attached on the mechanism body containing the peripheral interface device.

A rotating spindle is positioned in the housing and has a buffing surface for engagement with the footwear part. A carriage is slideably connected to the housing and holds the spindle such that the buffing surface can be moved closer to and further away from the footwear part. An actuator is in the housing and in contact with the carriage. The actuator applies force to the carriage to increase the force of the buffing surface onto the footwear part. A biasing member is in the housing and in contact with the carriage. The biasing member exerts force onto the carriage in a direction opposite the force exerted by the actuator.

When the keycap is moved toward the base plate, the bulge is moved downwardly to push the resilience arm. After the resilience arm is pushed by the bulge, the resilience arm is subjected to elastic deformation and separated from the bulge. After the resilience arm is separated from the bulge, the resilience arm knocks on the keycap, so that a sound is generated.

    Abstract: Disclosed are verification techniques that can be implemented by a device that conducts biological tests to verify that the specimen holding area carries a valid biological specimen. In certain embodiments, the testing device includes a receiving mechanism to receive a carrier, and the carrier includes a holding area that is to carry or to be exposed to a biological specimen. The device can also include a camera module arranged to capture imagery of the carrier, and a processor. In some examples, the processor can capture the imagery of the carrier and identify a visual cue on the carrier. Then, the processor can verify, based on a manner of how the visual cue is displayed in the captured imagery, whether the holding area carries a valid biological specimen.

In calibration mode, the processor can divide the captured imagery into segments and selectively perform one or more calibration procedures for each segment.
