  • Publication number: 20190300121
Abstract: When a rider of a motorcycle has manipulated a shift manipulation member, a shift stroke sensor detects an expansion/contraction amount corresponding to a load placed on the shift manipulation member. A controller of an ECU references a map and, when the load corresponding to the expansion/contraction stroke amount exceeds a threshold value point (down-side ON point one up-side ON point), switches a transmission stage of a transmission. The threshold value point can be changed based on a manipulation of an instruction switch by the driver while the motorcycle is travelling.
