    Abstract: A memory cell includes a write port and a read port. The write port includes two cross-coupled inverters that form a storage unit. The cross-coupled inverters are connected between a first power source signal line and a second power source signal line. The write port also includes a first local interconnect line in an interconnect layer that is connected to the second power source signal line. The read port includes a transistor that is connected to the storage unit in the write port and to the second power source signal line, and a second local interconnect line in the interconnect layer that is connected to the second power source signal line. The second local interconnect line in the read port is separate from the first local interconnect line in the write port.

    Abstract: The micromachined liquid flow sensor devices are enclosed with silicon nitride film as passivation layer to protect device from penetration of liquid into device and avoid the damages of erosion or short circuit etc. One thin layer of silicon dioxide is deposited underneath the silicon nitride layer to enhance the adhesion and reliability of the passivation layer for various applications. The incorporation of silicon dioxide film had successfully provided reliable passivation protection especially for microfluidic devices application. In order to avoid flow turbulence caused by wire bonding wires, the wire bonding wires are omitted by deploying through-substrate conductive vias whereas connected to the carrier printed circuit board of sensor chip. The present invention disclosed a novel micromachining process and designed structure to form hermit sealing between the sensor chip and the carrier printed circuit board.

The sensor can be further used to alert any changes in physical properties of flow medium during operation.     Abstract: A method of ultrasonically bonding a plurality of prismatic battery cell tabs to a bus bar within a battery section. The method includes arranging numerous prismatic battery cells such that cell tabs that extend from their lateral edge are substantially aligned along a stacking dimension defined within the battery section, and positioning a free end of at least one of the plurality of cell tabs in contact with a surface of the bus bar. The method is completed by contacting a bonding tool to no more than one surface of the positioned cell tab free end and ultrasonically bonding the positioned cell tab free end to a bus bar with the bonding tool. The one-sided bonding tool has a bonding tip cooperative with an ultrasonic excitation source.
