Abstract: A vehicle seat for coupling to the floor of a vehicle comprising a seat back, a seat cushion, a first bracket, and a second bracket. The seat back is pivotable between at least a first position and a design position. The seat cushion is configured to be coupled to the vehicle floor. The first bracket is configured to be coupled to the vehicle floor and includes one of a keyed passage and a keyed pin configured to be received within the keyed passage. The second bracket is coupled to the seat back and includes the other one of the keyed passage and the keyed pin configured to be received within the keyed passage. The keyed passage is configured to receive the keyed pin only when the seat back is in a position the seat back will be prevented from assuming after the vehicle seat has been installed in the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20080112114
Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a casing, an active function area, a passive function area and at least a heat pipe is provided. The active function area is provided inside the casing. The active function area has at least one processor, at least one input device and at least one output device. The passive function area is independent of the active function area. The processor and the passive function area are connected by the heat pipe, by which the heat generated by the processor is conducted. The heat generated by the active function area is conducted by the heat pipe to the independent passive function area effectively. Therefore, the portable electronic device has a better heat dissipating effect.

  • Patent number: 7187537
Abstract: A portable computer with a position-adjustable keyboard is used to provide a comfortable typing environment. More space is laid out for accommodating the keyboard, and the act of opening the panel is used to move the keyboard position. An adjustment mechanism is installed around a rotation shaft of the portable computer. A first gear is mounted on and rotated simultaneously with the rotation shaft. A cylinder is positioned adjacent to the rotation shaft, and a second gear is mounted thereon. A wire, rolled around the cylinder, interconnects the position-adjustable keyboard and the cylinder. When the panel is unfolded, the first gear rotates with the panel, and drives the second gear. The wire, pulled by the cylinder, moves the position-adjustable keyboard to the desired position for comfortable typing.

  • Patent number: 7076837
Abstract: A hinge device for pivotally coupling a display to a base includes a seat for being secured with the base, a rotor, a pair of hinges, and at least one roller located on the rotor. The seat defines a hole, and a railway defined in an inner wall of the seat. The rotor includes a shaft pivotally received in the hole, and a pair of beams. Each hinge includes a first rotating member for being attached to the respective beam, and a second rotating member pivotally engaged with the first rotating member for being attached to the display. The roller is movably received in the railway. The railway defines at least two points located in two different planes perpendicular to an axial direction of the shaft. When the shaft of the rotor rotates, the roller moves along the railway to cause the rotor to move in said axial direction.

  • Publication number: 20040200036
Abstract: A hinge device for pivotally coupling a display (70) to a base (80) of an electronic device. The hinge device includes a seat (30) securing in the base and a rotor (40) attached to the display. The seat defines a center through hole (35) therein and a railway (36) in an inner wall of the seat. The rotor includes a shaft (42) pivotally received in the center through hole of the seat and a pair of opposite beams (43) connecting to the display. At least one socket (45) is defined in an outer wall of the shaft. A roller (50) is tightly held between the socket of the rotor and the railway of the seat. The roller moves along the railway when the rotor rotates in the seat. The display swivels relative to the base and alters the vertical distance from the base.

  • Patent number: 5849640
Abstract: A method is disclosed for improved planarization and deposition of intermetal dielectric layers in semiconductor substrates. More specifically, the method involves the performance of specific process steps in-situ. That is, unlike in prior art, starting with cured spin-on-glass (SOG), the steps of SOG etchback and deposition of the intermetal dielectric PECVD, all take place sequentially in the same chamber and without a vacuum break. If not in the same chamber, then in the same load lock system. In this manner, it is shown that no longer does the SOG layer delaminate from the oxide layer. Furthermore, because the system is not exposed to moisture due to the absence of vacuum break, there is no adverse reaction when metal is deposited into the via holes.
