    Abstract: The invention relates to a wireless keyboard capable of operating with a radiation-based signal receiver of a computing apparatus. The wireless keyboard includes a radiation-based signal transmitter functions converting a corresponding key signal into a radiation beam and emitting the radiation beam. The wireless keyboard also includes a user-adjustable guiding device having a first end and a second end. The first end abuts on the radiation-based signal transmitter such that the radiation beam emitted by the radiation-based signal transmitter enters into the guiding device from the first end. The guiding device also leads the radiation beam out from the second end. The radiation beam, led out from the second end of the guiding device, has a covered zone.

    Abstract: A fastening mechanism for detachable keyboard modules with the keyboard module consists of at least one fastening seat. The fastening seat engages with a fastening means. The keyboard module is fastened to a computer casing through the fastening means. The fastening means includes a body, two slide channels and an elastic element. The body has a second fastener located at a front end and a housing chamber located at a rear end. The two slide-channels are located at two sides of the body to form a slidable coupling with two slides which located at two sides of the fastening seat. The elastic element is restricted between the housing chamber and a stopping flange which located at a rear end of the fastening seat. The elastic force of the elastic element may push the fastening means forwards to enable a second fastener located at the front end of the body to engage with a first fastener located at the computer casing thereby to enable the keyboard module fastening to the computer casing.

A front end and a rear end fixing mechanisms are installed at a front and rear end of the sunken socket respectively for fixing the keyboard device. The rear end fixing mechanism has an aperture. The keyboard device has a base plate, a front edge clamping mechanism installed at the front edge of the base plate for clamping with the front end fixing mechanism of the sunken socket to fix the front edge of the base plate, and a rear edge clamping mechanism installed at the rear edge of the base plate. The rear edge clamping mechanism has at least one fastening device. The fastening device has a track installed at the rear edge of the base plate, a sliding cap slidingly installed on the track along a front-and-rear direction, and a locking device for locking the sliding cap on the track to prevent the sliding cap from moving forward.

    Abstract: A pseudo key structure for detachable keyboard module includes a cap, a shaft and a latch member. The cap has an interior accommodation space and is mounted on the base board of the keyboard module. The shaft has an upper end rotational in the cap and a lower end rotational in the accommodation space. The latch member is held in the accommodation space and is driven by the shaft. The latch member has a protrusive end engageable with a stopper formed on a base upon which the keyboard module is mounted. By turning the shaft, the protrusive end can engage/disengage with the stopper to fasten/release the keyboard module to/from the base.

    Abstract: A computer keyswitch with accurately positioned rubber domes. The computer keyswitch includes a base plate, a membrane circuit board installed on the base plate, and a rubber sheet positioned on the membrane circuit board. The membrane circuit board has a plurality of pressure sensors. The rubber sheet has a plurality of upwardly protruding rubber domes each above a corresponding pressure sensor, and a plurality of rubber pegs around each of the rubber domes. The base plate and the membrane circuit board have a plurality of fastening holes positioned corresponding to the rubber pegs. The rubber pegs will engage with the fastening holes to accurately position the rubber domes of the rubber sheet on the pressure sensors of the membrane circuit board.

    Abstract: A scissors-type push button switch having slanted surfaces on top of first and second bearing slots that are integrated to the surface of a bottom base plate. The slanted surfaces are designed as such so that lateral cylindrical protrusions located on one end of a linking bracket can snap in the bearing slots in position with just a single push towards the base plate which reduces cycle time during the component assembly process. In particular, the first slanted surface and the spaced-apart second slanted surface, for guiding insertion, are slantingly recessed surfaces that tilt slightly towards each other and directly above the first and second bearing slots. In a second embodiment, the surfaces on top of the first and bearing slots are flat and the ends of the lateral cylindrical protrusions are chamfered to form slanted surfaces slanted away from each other.
