  • Publication number: 20110286390
Abstract: A wireless image transmitting apparatus includes an image processing unit, a wireless bridging module, and a wireless local area network module. The wireless bridging module includes a network switch and a network port. The network switch is in signal communication with the network port and the image processing unit. The WLAN module is in signal communication with the network switch. The WLAN module uses a first type of packet and a first band to transmit a signal from the image processing unit and uses a second type of packet and a second band to transmit a signal from the network port. A method for transmitting data in a wireless image transmitting apparatus is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20080084991
Abstract: An automatic switch-dialing system and method are provided, that can be applied on a telephone set having both of the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and the Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) dialing capabilities. During dialing out a phone call, the prefix code and the phone number length of the dialed phone number are compared with those stored in a preset routing table, thus determining the dialing mode of the dialed phone call. As such eliminating the inconvenience of manual setting for the user, and realizing the optimized balance between saving telephone expenses and achieving better communication quality.

  • Publication number: 20080043722
Abstract: A user self-expandable extension network system and its dialing and answering processes are applied to an extension network which consists of a plurality of extensions. An extension will send a detecting signal to locate the host phone and regard the host phone as a session initiation protocol (SIP) proxy server after receiving the reporting signal of the host phone. Therefore, the extension can be dialed or receive a phone call without being set up by the assistance of a professional technician.

  • Publication number: 20070280252
Abstract: A system and method for realizing a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) by using the Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication (DECT), wherein the Voice Over Internet Protocol is realized through Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication, and a seamless handoff between intradomain and interdomain, and roamings in intradomain and interdomain are achieved through mobile agents. In order to achieve the above-mentioned objective, Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication is utilized to register with a session initiation protocol (SIP) proxy. When Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunication is on-line for communication, the calling signals or the real-time transport protocol (RTP) data packets are processed through the mobile agents and are then transmitted. In making the intra-domain roamings, the mobile agent is used to redirect the signals directly; while making the inter-domain roamings, the signals are processed by the mobile agent through a tunnel between the mobile agents.

  • Publication number: 20070264997
Abstract: A method and system are provided for integrating a WLAN radio access network into a GSM/GPRS core network wherein gateways are added that transparently transport services between the two networks. A further aspect of the invention is secure authentication The system has two network elements: a Radio Link Manager (RLM) and a Radio Access Controller (RAC), and a software application, a Multi-Link Client (MLC) to control the functionality of the integration and the authentication. The MLC resides on a user device. The RAC provides protocol stacks and interworking functions to allow the MLC to talk to a Home Location Register (HLR). The RLM and MLC set up a “tunnel” employing, for example, PPP over Ethernet (PPPOE), and all of the data packets received on this tunnel are forwarded by the RLM to the Gateway GPRS Support Node (GGSN over a further tunnel using the GPRS Tunneling Protocol (GTP).

  • Publication number: 20070165611
Abstract: A phone device for the Public Switched Telecommunication Network (PSTN) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) network is provided. It is used to dial up through the PSTN and the VoIP network automatically or selectively, suitable for telecommunication networks of both inbound and outbound calls. A phone device includes a control circuit for coupling the analog phone module with the VoIP module, wherein the VoIP module is used for dial up through the PSTN, and a signal detection module is used to handle the operation timing between the VoIP network and the PSTN.

  • Publication number: 20070120949
Abstract: An Integration system for video, sound, and Voice over IP is provided. The video, sound, and Voice over IP integration system comprises a display, a phone handset, a keypad, a camera, VGA input/output ports, and a sound input/output ports. The VGA input port and sound input port of the video, sound, and Voice over IP system are coupled with the VGA output port and the sound output port of a mobile computer. The conference information can be transferred to the receiving terminal through the Internet from the mobile computer that is coupled with the video, sound, and voice internet phone integration system. Thus, the conference information can be displayed on a Video, voice over IP apparatus at the receiving terminal. Furthermore, the image display size can be increased by coupling the VGA output port of the video, sound and Voice over IP integration system with a digital projector, and the voice volume can also be increased by coupling the audio output port with an external amplifier.
