    Abstract: A method for switching unlocking modes of a mobile terminal includes controlling a locating device of the mobile terminal to determine a current position of the mobile terminal, and determining a location ranges that the current position falls into. According to the determined location ranges and a pre-stored relation list which defines a relationship between multiple location ranges and multiple unlocking modes for the mobile terminal, a new unlocking mode corresponding to the determined location range is determined. A current unlocking mode of the mobile terminal is switched to the new unlocking mode.

    Abstract: A method for inputting characters into an electronic device by receiving proximity signals from proximity sensors. The proximity sensors include a first proximity sensor and at least one proximity sensor. Predetermined character types are displayed on the display device after enabling the proximity sensors. A character type from the predetermined character types is selected by receiving a proximity signal from the first proximity sensor, and a predetermined number of characters of the selected character type are displayed on the display device. Then, a character of the selected character type is input into the electronic device after receiving a proximity signal from the second proximity sensor.

    Abstract: An electronic device and display control method includes a plurality of first receivers and second receivers, respectively to receive first electromagnetic waves and second electromagnetic waves. An input device transmits first and second electromagnetic waves respectively from transmitters at opposite ends of the input device. Programs cause at least one processor to determine an actual first distance and an actual second distance according to the different electromagnetic waves and determine whether the input device is in a certain orientation in relation to the electronic device. The method lights up a backlight device and displays an unlocked interface on a display device if the input device is in the certain orientation.

    Abstract: An electric rivet nut tool has a motor, a torque adjuster and a control device. The control device drives the motor to rotate a driving shaft so as to set a rivet nut. The torque adjuster serves to adjust a preset torque value. When a torque generated by the driving shaft exceeds the preset torque value of the torque adjuster and it represents that the rivet nut setting job is completed, the torque adjuster then displace for the control device to detect the displacement and drive the motor to reversely rotate. Given the torque adjuster and the control device, the problems of being time-consuming, inefficient, increasing in cost and damage prone to rivet nut or motor upon setting rivet nut because of the manual switch of forward or reverse rotation of an electric rivet nut tool can be effectively resolved.

Programs in a storage device, executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to receive and sample light intensity signals and determine whether the ambient light level is changing. Time passing is counted if the ambient light level is changing, until the ambient light level stops changing. The counting of time stops when ambient light level stops changing and the counted time period is compared with a preset time period, a longer time period causes a volume adjusting command to be sent to a playback output device.

    Abstract: A motor-driving device of an electric caulking gun has a micro-controller unit (MCU), a direction-changing module, a motor and a speed sensor. The direction-changing module and the speed sensor are electrically connected to the MCU. The direction-changing module is electrically connected to the motor, and the speed sensor detects a speed of the motor. The MCU is built in with a speed determination procedure comparing an actual speed of the motor acquired from the speed sensor with a preset speed. If the actual speed is lower than the preset speed, it indicates that the resistance at a tube nozzle of the electrical caulking gun increases and the direction-changing module increases the speed of the motor to maintain a preset caulk discharge rate. Given the motor-driving device, the operational inconvenience arising from the unstable caulk discharge rate of conventional electric caulking gun can be tackled.
