    Abstract: A sound-generating device comprises a first enclosure having at least one first electrode and a first piezoelectric layer, a first terminal of an audio signal output being coupled to the at least one first electrode of the first enclosure, a second enclosure having at least one first electrode and a first piezoelectric layer, and a first bendable element coupled between the first and second enclosures. The at least one first electrode is coupled with the first terminal of the audio signal output. The first piezoelectric layer of the first enclosure and the first piezoelectric layer of the second enclosure are configured to respond to the signal supplied by the audio signal output and to generate sound waves.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a linker for joining an electrode and a capture probe on a biochip, and a biochip comprising the linker. The impedance baseline of the linker of the present invention is three orders lower than the conventional long chain thiol linker when adopting in a fadaraic impedance biochip construction. With lower impedance baseline, the device designed to measure the signal of the biochip of the present invention could be further simplied on the electrical circuit design and be made in lower cost, compacter size and get the potential to be used in point-of-care applications. The present invention also provides a method of quantitatively detecting a concentration of a target analyte in a fluid sample by adopting the biochip and the linker of present invention.

    Abstract: A micro optical head is provided, which provides sub-wavelength focusing spot and very long depth of focus. The optical head includes a transparent substrate, an opaque film, and at least one sub-wavelength annular channel. After coherent light transmits the transparent substrate supporting the optical head and passes through the appropriately designed sub-wavelength annular channel, the transmitted light can overcome the diffraction limit, and the transmission energy is improved efficiently. The transmitted light converges after a certain distance behind the optical head and forms a sub-wavelength-scale beam that maintains a very long distance without divergence.

In turn, a segment of predetermined length of the auxiliary fluid is formed at the two-phase fluid output section, and then the auxiliary fluid flow is intercepted.
