    Abstract: An IC inductor includes a housing having two legs, two conductors attached to the legs of the housing respectively, and an antenna device received and engaged in the housing, and the antenna device includes a conductive extension engaged in one of the legs of the housing and electrically connected to one of the conductors, and another conductive extension is engaged in the other leg of the housing and electrically connected to the other conductor. The housing includes a space formed between the legs for receiving the other electrical parts or elements. The antenna device includes two coils engaged in the housing, and the conductive extensions are extended from the coils respectively.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a hollow cathode discharging apparatus including a hollow anode electrode, a hollow cathode electrode insulatedly fixed in the hollow anode electrode, a gas distribution pipe fixed in the hollow cathode electrode. The hollow anode electrode and the hollow cathode electrode are formed with anode openings and cathode openings respectively. Defined by the gas distribution pipe and the hollow cathode electrode and along the axis thereof is a spiral pathway winding through the cathode openings, so as to form a plurality of continuous and communicated reaction chambers. The gas distribution pipe is disposed with gas separation apertures communicated and adapted to introduce a reactive gas into the reaction chambers. The communicated reaction chambers enable uniform distribution of the reactive gas and thereby facilitate scale-up of the apparatus in axial. Accordingly, the present invention overcomes drawbacks of the prior art.

    Abstract: A method for driving an LCD monitor is disclosed. The LCD monitor includes a voltage selection unit used for outputting a plurality of driving voltages according to display data, and a plurality of output buffers each electrically connected to the voltage selection circuit and a corresponding pixel. In the beginning, an output port of each output buffer approaches voltage at an input port. Then, the output ports of the driving units, which approach the same input voltage, are electrically connected to have an average voltage. In addition, the LCD monitor further includes a timing controller for controlling operation of the output buffers. When output ports of the output buffers, which approach the same input voltage, are electrically connected, the output buffers are turned off for saving power.

    Abstract: A miniaturized balun with a four-wire system may be constructed with laminated construct for coupling from an unbalanced transmission line to a balanced transmission line, wherein unbalanced signals are input from a first pair of middle substrates, whilst balanced signal outputs are set up on a second pair of substrates disposed above and below the first pair.     Abstract: An enclosure (1) for a portable electronic includes a skin (2) made of soft material, a plastic film layer (3), and a base resin layer (4). The skin is on an outer surface of the enclosure. The plastic film layer is between the skin and the base resin layer. A method for making the enclosure includes the steps of: (a) providing a skin made of soft material and a plastic film layer; (b) combining the skin and the plastic film layer together by heat pressing to obtain a preform (5); (c) positioning the preform in a cavity (91) of a mold (9); (d) injecting molten resin into the mold on a surface of the plastic film layer opposite from the skin to obtain the enclosure; and (e) removing the enclosure from the cavity after the resin is cooled and solidified. The enclosure having a unique attractive visual effect and comfortable feel is thus obtained.
