  • Publication number: 20240109641
Abstract: An aircraft cabin floor arrangement includes two floor support part-structures, each having vertical support members, a beam member, cantilevering members and a seat rail. The beam member and the seat rail extend in a first direction with the seat rail being carried by the beam member. The cantilevering members cantilever in a second direction transverse to the first direction. The vertical support members extend in a third direction transverse to the first and second directions. The two floor support part-structures are each configured to be arranged along opposing side portions within an aircraft fuselage structure and are configured to transfer load from the cantilevering members and the beam member to the fuselage structure. The cantilevering members and the beam member are configured to carry a cabin floor configured to provide a load transfer in a plane direction of the floor and to contribute to a stiffening of the fuselage structure.

  • Publication number: 20230358261
Abstract: A connection system includes at least a first part and at least a second part, both comprising a connection surface and being configured to be connected to each other. A plurality of engagement elements is protruding from the connection surface of the first part and from the connection surface of the second part. For connecting different components, the parts are positioned such that their connection surfaces are facing each other. A ductile material is positioned between the connection surfaces of the parts to be connected to each other. The parts are pressed together, wherein the engagement elements are pressed into the ductile material at required positions, thereby compensating position deviations.

  • Publication number: 20210066070
Abstract: A semiconductor layer and a method and an apparatus for its manufacturing are disclosed. The semiconductor layer includes at least one compound of the formula M1aM21-aN, where M1 is selected from group 13 of the periodic table and M2 is selected from the group comprising scandium, yttrium, erbium, and europium and where the parameter a is selected between 0.01 and 0.99. The method includes supplying a first precursor into a reaction chamber, the first precursor including at least M2 and being supplied to the reaction chamber at a molar flow rate of at least 1·10?6 mol/min by providing the first precursor by means of a first bubbler from which it is evaporated and supplied to the reaction chamber, the temperature of the first bubbler being more than 90° C.

  • Patent number: 8104709
Abstract: A lateral force joint, with which a plate-like spar can be fastened to a fuselage strap mounted on an airplane fuselage. The plate-like spar has a through bore, into which a fastening cylinder mounted on the flange can be inserted for connecting both components. In order to allow for the location of the spar to be adjusted with respect to the fuselage strap, a bearing bush of the spar is eccentrically fitted into the through bore. Correspondingly, the fastening cylinder of the fuselage strap is mounted eccentrically on a bearing bush so that a rotation of the bearing bushes allows the lateral force joint to be adjusted.

  • Publication number: 20120018703
Abstract: Manufacturing semiconductor heterostructures by way of molecular beam epitaxy, including placing a substrate into a first vacuum chamber, heating the substrate to a first temperature, depositing from at least one molecular beam a first epitaxial layer of a first material containing a binary, ternary or quaternary compound of elements of main group III and V, cooling the substrate to a second temperature, interrupting the molecular beam by elements of main group III and V, heating the substrate to a third temperature and depositing from at least one molecular beam a second epitaxial layer of a second material containing a binary, ternary, or quaternary compound of elements of main group III and V and that is deposited from at least one molecular beam; and semiconductor components produced thereby.

  • Patent number: 8000367
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a unipolar quantum cascade laser consisting of several semiconductor multilayer structures (C) that are layered behind one another between two electrodes in a periodic sequence such that an active area (A) and a transitional or injection area (B) respectively alternate. The active areas (A) respectively have at least one upper and one lower energy level for electrons, between which electron transitions (T) emitting light take place. The transitional or injection areas (B) are realized in such a way that they allow the electron transport from the lower energy level of the preceding active area referred to the transport direction into the upper energy level of the following active area referred to the transport direction.

  • Publication number: 20070029443
Abstract: The invention relates to nose parts of the fairing of vertical and horizontal tails and wings of an aircraft with a skin and a support structure, the skin (2) being disposed on the support structure (4, 6). The support structure is provided with a plurality of ribs (6) and a plurality of stringers (4), the plurality of stringers being arranged on the plurality of ribs to support the skin. Advantageously, an improved deformation behavior can be obtained, e.g. in the event of an impact of a bird, while the weight and cost are minimized by providing the stringers.
