  • Publication number: 20220280683
Abstract: A composition based on triblock copolymers of the ABA type, including two styrene thermoplastic terminal blocks A, and an elastomer central block B which is a saturated olefin, and at least one polyisobutene having a very low molecular weight and optionally a diblock copolymer of AB. The present composition exhibits advantageous properties which are similar to those of silicone elastomers. Also, a dressing including such an elastomeric composition.

  • Publication number: 20220275136
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the polymerization of a composition in the presence of at least one block copolymer, and also to the products obtained by this polymerization process. The present invention also relates to the use of the products obtained using the polymerization process which is a subject matter of the invention.

  • Publication number: 20220143264
Abstract: A composition for the adhesion of biological tissues to one another, for the adhesion of a material to a biological tissue, for the adhesion of an adhesive or of a substance to the surface of a biological tissue, for blocking an orifice in a biological tissue, for reinforcing a biological tissue and/or for fixing and stabilising a biological tissue. A monomer that is polymerisable under the effect of ultraviolet (UV) radiation and in that the viscosity of said composition is less than 10 mPa·s at 20° C.

  • Patent number: 7906583
Abstract: Improved adhesives are provided through the use of styrenic radial block copolymers, containing at least 40 wt % diblock copolymers, the adhesives have improved adhesive properties and a reduced elastic behavior under die-cutting conditions. Compared to conventional linear block copolymers of similar molecular weight, radial copolymers offer higher holding power and lower melt viscosity for the adhesive. They therefore contribute to an improved balance between processability and end-use properties.

    Filed: October 31, 2007
Date of Patent: March 15, 2011
Assignees: The Dow Chemical Company, Exxon Mobil Chemical Patents Inc.
