  • Patent number: 9560268
Abstract: A method is dedicated to the obtaining of video recordings related to a user who has a communication device (EC) capable of connecting to a wireless communications network (RC) and whose position is determinable. This method comprises the following steps: (i) determining the position of the spot where the communication device (EC) is located, (ii) determining whether there is at least one camera (C1) capable of providing video recordings, of a part of an observation area that may include that determined spot, accessible via the communications network (RC), and (iii) in the event that such a camera (C1) is determined, transmitting to the communication device (EC), via the communications network (RC), at least a portion of a video recording made by that camera (C1) while the communication device (EC) is in its observation zone.

  • Patent number: 8774768
Abstract: The aim of the present invention is a system (100) for selecting a message suitable for delivery to a user (111) of telecommunications services. This system (100) comprises a first database (107) including a range of statuses characteristic of said user (111), each status occupying a specific place in a series of possible statuses, and transitions between the different statuses, a second database (108) including a range of messages suitable for broadcast to said user (111) and a third database (104) incorporating a history of messages already broadcast to said user (111). The system (100) also comprises a calculator (101) comprising transition detection means (112) and means of determining the current status of said user (111) based on data provided by said third database (104), means (113) of associating said current status with a message included in said second database and means (103; 115; 114) of determining the moment to broadcast said message to said user (111).

  • Publication number: 20130159995
Abstract: A device (D) is designed to manage applications for a piece of communication equipment (EC) of a user, capable of connecting to a communication network (R). This device (D) comprises i) a search system (MR) configured to determine, through the network (R), applications that may be downloaded and used by the communication equipment (EC) and that are potentially useful to the user based on at least one parameter, and ii) a management system (MG) configured to order the communication device (EC) to download to a storage system (MS2) at least one of the applications thus determined in order to offer it to the user, and to control the installation of each proposed application selected by the user in order for it to be potentially used at least temporarily.

  • Publication number: 20110295859
Abstract: A weighted list may be visually shown on a website, e.g., as a tag cloud, object cloud, etc. The font size of each item in the weighted list may indicate its strength relative to the other items in the same. The strength of a weighted list item is determined based at least on multi-dimensional weights accorded to applications by users of a given tag to an object. For example, each multi-dimensional weight may be an aggregate of weight measures of two or more of quantity-based dimensions, time-based dimensions, social distance-based dimensions, semantic similarity dimensions, etc.
