  • Publication number: 20220366499
Abstract: A computer method for creating optionality of price basis in a commodity contract includes establishing a smart contract for a transfer of a commodity using a distributed ledger and graphical user interface (GUI). The smart contract includes a variable price with a provision for a future determination of a price basis. The computer method includes receiving agreement on the smart contract between a seller and a counterparty, receiving a deposit on a total price from the counterparty, transferring at least a portion of the deposit to the seller, and transferring a token representing the smart contract to the counterparty. The computer method includes, at a future date, receiving a selection of the price basis for the smart contract from one of the counterparty or the seller, and notifying the other of the seller or the counterparty of the selected price basis and a resultant settlement price.

  • Patent number: 11415316
Abstract: A combustion system supports a swirl-stabilized preheating flame with a preheating fuel and an oxidant. The combustion system preheats a perforated flame holder with the preheating flame. After the perforated flame holder has been preheated to the threshold temperature, the combustion system outputs a primary fuel. The perforated flame holder receives a mixture of the primary fuel and the oxidant supports a combustion reaction of the primary fuel and the oxidant.

  • Publication number: 20220196761
Abstract: An electronic circuit triage device diagnoses functionality of various electronic circuits of an electronic device. The electronic circuit triage device detects whether an electronic circuit is functioning properly by measuring a magnetic field pattern associated with the electronic circuit and comparing the magnetic field pattern to an expected magnetic field pattern. A magnetic sensor array includes non-packaged magnetic sensors disposed on a substrate. The non-packaged magnetic sensors can include bare dice, in one embodiment. In another embodiment, the magnetic sensors are formed directly on the substrate, such as by printing conductive traces on the substrate. • Patent number: 11248786
Abstract: A method for a combustion system includes outputting fuel from an adjustable-position fuel nozzle onto a perforated flame holder, the fuel being directed for mixture with an oxidant en route to the perforated flame holder. A combustion reaction of the fuel and the oxidant is supported within the perforated flame holder. A position of the adjustable-position fuel nozzle may be changed relative to the flame holder. A first flow of fuel may be output when the adjustable position fuel nozzle is in an extended state, and a second flow of fuel may be output when the adjustable-position fuel nozzle is in a retracted state.

  • Patent number: 11189321
Abstract: An event marking device marks the real time at which notable events occur. When a notable event occurs, a user causes the event marking device to generate a trigger signal. The event marking device includes a real-time clock. When the user causes a trigger signal to be generated, a microcontroller of the event marking device reads the real-time clock and writes trigger event data to a memory indicating a real time at which the trigger signal was generated. The event marking device outputs the trigger event data to an external device.
