  • Publication number: 20130325758
Abstract: This document describes techniques and apparatuses enabling a tailored operating system learning experience. The techniques can tailor a learning experience to a user's computing device or a user's specifications. This tailoring to the user's computing device may include an interactive demonstration showing a new feature controlled through a mouse if the user's computing device has a mouse, or a touchscreen if the user's computing device has a touchscreen, for example. Further, this tailoring may include showing a new feature according to a user's specifications, such as describing a feature using a large font or with a large, bright mouse-pointer if the user indicated that he or she is visually impaired.

  • Patent number: 7362341
Abstract: A target acquisition model is used to position the screen display areas. An area is docked by acquiring the screen display area to be docked and dragging a representation of the screen display area towards the desired location. As the mouse pointer enters the boundaries of the target area, a target group appears within the area. A target group represents the five behaviors that can be triggered: dock to left, dock to top, dock to right, dock to bottom and dock together or tab dock. Touching the desired docking target with the mouse acquires the target.

  • Patent number: 5943798
Abstract: An excavation apparatus adapted for connection to a tool of a construction vehicle comprises a framework having a proximal end and a distal end, the framework including a trenching device positioned intermediate the proximal end and the distal end for digging a furrow in which a silt fence is positioned. The proximal end has a mounting arrangement for clamping the framework to the tool of the construction vehicle and the distal end has a depth limiting arrangement for limiting the digging depth of the trenching device.
