  • Patent number: 10658846
Abstract: The invention is a method for intelligent current limiting enabling chaining of electrical appliances. Different embodiments apply to alternating current (AC) appliances, direct current (DC) appliances, and a combination of each. In each embodiment, current limits control the number of appliances that can be connected in the chain. If current limits are exceeded, current-limiting devices cut power to one or more of the appliances. Each appliance in the system has conductors with the capacity to carry a current load at least as large as the overall current limit. Preferably, the appliances in the system are garage appliances that are mounted to an overhead track system in a garage, where electrical outlets are scarce.

  • Publication number: 20200146558
Abstract: Code configured receiving, over the communications network from information sources associated with the user baseline data storing the baseline data in the attached database. A first algorithm is selected from algorithms stored in an attached database. The first algorithm is for facilitating the measured change of a user based upon the baseline data received. A performance indicator for facilitating the measured change is determined. Next, the code is configured for receiving from one of the information sources a first set of performance indicator user data, Next, the code determines based upon the performance indicator user data received if the performance indicator for the measured change was satisfied. Next, the code provides to the remote computing an unexpected reward message or the loss aversion message based upon if the performance indicator for the measured change was satisfied. The steps are repeated until the measured change is satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20200030531
Abstract: A computerized electro-mechanical drug delivery device configured to deliver at least one dose of two or more medicaments. The device comprises a control unit. An electro-mechanical drive unit is operably coupled to the control unit and a primary reservoir for a first medicament and a secondary reservoir for a fluid agent, e.g. a second medicament. An operator interface is in communication with the control unit. A single dispense assembly is configured for fluid communication with the primary and the secondary reservoir. Activation of the operator panel sets a first dose from the primary reservoir and based on the first dose and a therapeutic dose profile, the control unit is configured to determine a dose or range of the fluid agent. Alternatively, the control unit determines or calculates a dose or range of a third medicament. Further, a dispense interface for use with a drug delivery device is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20200006959
Abstract: In a first aspect, the invention is a system for sharing power among interconnected tools and is made up of multiple battery-powered tools, each with a battery. A processor is associated with each tool and its battery. Each tool, its battery, and associated processor is electrically and communicatively connected to each other. The tools, their battery and associated processor are adapted to communicate with each other in order to provide charging current to each battery, to monitor the charge level of each battery and to direct current from one battery with a higher charge level to another battery with a lower charge level. Preferably, the system is also adapted to enable power to be directed to corded electric tools.

  • Publication number: 20190392512
Abstract: An electronic auction tool for generating quotes and rankings associated with a seller is described herein. In response to receiving a request for a product from a buyer, one or more sellers may choose to participate in a negotiation for fulfilling the request. The system may receive a request for a product and/or service from a buyer that stipulates a number of bidding rounds during which the seller(s) may submit a limited number of quotes during a limited period of time. Additionally, a rank associated with the seller(s) may be generated based on historical transaction data. Further, a price-matching quote round may be conducted, during which the seller may have an opportunity to modify the submitted quote to match the quote with a lowest bid submitted by the other participating sellers.

  • Publication number: 20190385144
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer-readable mediums for selecting multiple payment applications and preparing multiple transaction payloads for a transaction during interaction between a mobile device and an access device. A merchant may prepare multiple transaction payloads for a single transaction, and initiate transactions using each of the prepared transaction payloads in order of preference. If a transaction initiated using payment credentials associated with a preferred application is unsuccessful for any reason, a transaction may be initiated using payment credentials associated with an alternate application automatically, and without additional interaction by the mobile device and/or access device.

  • Publication number: 20190384896
Abstract: A method is disclosed. The method includes receiving a communication comprising a real credential from a communication device and providing the real credential to a token computer. The token computer generates a token and a cryptogram, and the cryptogram is formed using a resource provider initiated transaction indicator. The method includes receiving, from the token computer, the token and the cryptogram, and transmitting, to a processing computer, an authorization request message comprising the token, the cryptogram, a resource provider identifier, and a transaction amount for a first transaction. The processing computer validates the cryptogram, exchanges the token for the real credential, stores the resource provider identifier, and forwards the authorization request message including the real credential, and the transaction amount to an authorizing entity computer. The method also includes receiving an authorization response message from the authorizing entity computer.
