  • Patent number: 8287076
Abstract: A conveying distance control device includes a conveying roller; a first detecting unit detecting rotational positions of the conveying roller; a line sensor sequentially detecting marks arranged on a test chart; a calculation unit, and a control unit. The calculation unit calculates a skew angle between a line passing through positions of a first mark and a second mark and a conveying direction of the conveying roller. The control unit obtains conveying distance errors indicating differences between corrected conveying distances not including errors caused by the skew angle and theoretical conveying distance of the marks in association with the rotational positions of the conveying roller, calculates a correction value for correcting a conveying distance of the conveying roller based on relationships between the conveying distance errors and the rotational positions of the conveying roller, and controls the conveying distance of the conveying roller based on the correction value.

  • Publication number: 20110228027
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a photoconductor drum, a first printer head that forms a first pattern on the photoconductor drum and has a first end part, a second printer head that forms second and third patterns on the photoconductor drum and has a second end part that overlaps the first end part in a main scanning direction, a detection sensor that detects the densities of first and second test patterns formed at an area of the photoconductor drum at which the first and second end parts overlap, the first test pattern being formed by combining the first and second patterns, the second test pattern being formed by combining the first and third patterns, and a determination part that determines a deviation direction between the first and second printer heads by comparing the densities detected by the detection sensor.

  • Publication number: 20110211031
Abstract: A movable member encoder is used to detect the position of a movable member, and a correction value calculator calculates a correction value corresponding to the amount of displacement of the movable member from a reference position and the integration of the amount of displacement. The correction value calculated by the correction value calculator is then used in correcting a voltage instruction value output from a feed motor controller to a feed motor.

  • Publication number: 20110079244
Abstract: The present invention provides a pickling method of steel sheet and pickling system of steel sheet able to efficiently remove oxide scale from steel sheet. That is, it provides a continuous pickling method of steel sheet having a step A of pickling the steel sheet in a pickling tank, a step B of blowing gas toward at least part of the surfaces of the steel sheet in the air after the step A, and a step C of pickling the steel sheet in a pickling tank after the step B, wherein at step B, the steel sheet is temporarily taken out from the pickling solution and gas is blown to at least part of the surfaces of the steel sheet in the air so as to evaporate the acid solution deposited on the surface of the steel sheet and locally increase the acid concentration to thereby efficiently remove even the stubborn Si oxides included in the oxide scale.

  • Patent number: 5710992
Abstract: A method of searching for active signal frequencies from a plurality of frequency bands is disclosed. Bands of frequencies are defined by upper and lower limit frequencies. The bands are stored as chains in a chain memory. A controller searches for active signal frequencies by sequentially recalling each chain and searching the band of frequencies defined by the upper and lower limit frequencies. Active signal frequencies may be stored in a channel memory.
