  • Publication number: 20220000504
Abstract: A clot retrieval device for removing occlusive clot from a blood vessel. The device comprises an inner elongate body having a collapsed delivery configuration and an expanded deployed configuration. An outer elongate body is at least partially overlying the inner elongate body. The outer elongate body is expandable to a radial extent which is greater than the radial extent of the inner body in the deployed configuration to define a clot reception space. The outer elongate body has a plurality of clot receiving openings and a plurality of clot engaging regions. The clot engaging regions are adapted, on engagement with clot, to urge clot towards the clot receiving openings and into the reception space between the outer elongate body and the inner elongate body, wherein the radial force profile of the device varies along the length of the device.

  • Publication number: 20210365507
Abstract: Issuing and managing digital certificates for students is described. A server can receive organization information regarding an educational institution, group information regarding a course, and certificate information regarding the types of content to be displayed upon a digital certificate indicating that a student has completed the course. The server can generate a digital certificate template indicating the types of content and layout of that content for generating digital certificates. The digital certificates can then be generated and published to webpages for students.

  • Publication number: 20210077134
Abstract: An aspiration catheter including an elongate body and an expansile distal tip continuous with the elongate body. An expanding assembly is alignable internal to the expansile distal tip and connected proximally to a control wire. The expanding assembly includes a proximal position within the expansile distal tip proximal of a distal most end of the expansile distal tip. In a distal position where the expanding assembly is distally moved, by the control wire, until being aligned with and contacting the distal most end of the expansile distal tip causing the expansile distal tip to form a funnel mouth to receive clot.

  • Patent number: 10933282
Abstract: A reservoir provided in a hard-point fixture is pre-loaded with a curable adhesive, where the reservoir is protected from the curing radiation. The fixture is placed on a target surface and the adhesive is extruded from the reservoir into a space between the fixture and the target surface. An irradiating device to cure the adhesive is provided in the fixture and activated to couple the fixture to the surface. Once the curing process is complete, the fixture is released from the placement system leaving the fixture affixed to the target surface.

  • Patent number: 10919497
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments described in this disclosure are generally directed to systems and methods for ensuring password security when starting a vehicle having a keyless engine starting system. In an exemplary method, a computer detects a depression of an engine start push button when no phone-as-a-key (PaaK) device or passive-entry-passive-start (PEPS) key fob is present in the vehicle. The computer responds by executing a verification procedure prior to password validation. The verification procedure can include operations such as determining that no PaaK device or PEPS key fob is present either inside the vehicle or within a defined geofence outside the vehicle. If the verification procedure is successful, the computer displays a prompt upon a display screen for entering of a password. The computer then uses various security measures when verifying the validity of an entered password, followed by displaying of a message indicating acceptance or rejection of the password.

  • Patent number: 10857427
Abstract: A hard-point fixture placement system places a fixture that is pre-loaded with a curable adhesive by mechanically extruding the adhesive between the fixture and a target surface to which the fixture is to be attached. The placement system includes an irradiating device to cure the adhesive. The hard-point fixture stores the adhesive in a reservoir that is protected from the curing radiation. Once the curing process is complete, the fixture is released from the placement system leaving the fixture affixed to the target surface.

  • Patent number: 10792056
Abstract: A catheter has an expansile tip that can be delivered in a constricted form. The increased tip diameter facilitates the aspiration and removal of large clot volumes by increasing the area of the catheter tip that applies aspiration to the clot. The tip comprises a support frame which can be cut from a metal or polymer tube, covered with a thin polymer sleeve 909 containing highly elastic properties. This construction provides good pushability and high compressive resistance. The cut pattern can contain axial connections of the support frame and ring members, which will provide a large level of axial support, lateral flexibility and hoop strength to withstand aspiration. The tip of the device can contain a section proximal of the highly flexible area that can expand to except clot. This potential to increase body diameter facilitates the retrieval of large volume clots while the construction of the catheter provides good column stiffness to avoid axial collapse and still maintain good flexibility.

  • Patent number: 10682152
Abstract: A rapid exchange (RX) catheter may provide a proximal seal against a guide catheter inner lumen so that aspiration may be applied through a guide catheter. The catheter may include an exit port that defines a transfer port for aspiration and may enable minimal frictional engagement with the guide catheter proximal of the exit port. Aspiration can be applied to the lumen of the guide catheter and may be directed to and effective at the tip of the RX aspiration catheter. A tip of the RX catheter may facilitate aspiration and retrieval of the clot by expanding under load and can also partially or fully occlude the vessel.
