  • Publication number: 20240312311
Abstract: An electronic gaming device including a memory and a processor is described. The processor is configured to provide an electronic game wherein return-to-player (RTP) in the electronic game is controlled based upon input amounts for the electronic game and, for at least one play of the electronic game where a secondary output amount is provided, store the secondary output amount in the memory as being associated with at least one input amount used for the at least one play. The processor is also configured to receive at least part of the secondary output amount to initiate a bonus play, determine an RTP for the bonus play based at least in part upon the at least one input amount used for the at least one play where the secondary output amount was provided, and cause the bonus play to be provided with the RTP for the bonus play.

  • Publication number: 20240296718
Abstract: An electronic gaming machine enables implementation of a base game, from which a bonus game may be triggered. Outcomes achieved during a play of the bonus game may be retained for use during subsequent triggering of the bonus game. For example, during play of the bonus game a player may achieve one or more game conditions, such as held special symbols, sticky WILD symbols, or award multipliers. These game conditions may be retained at the end of the bonus game and used if the player subsequently triggers another bonus game while playing the base game.

  • Publication number: 20240278139
Abstract: Multi-player games in which players cooperate and/or compete with one another over the course of several rounds of the game are disclosed. A controller may synchronize gaming devices used by the players during the multi-player games. The controller may send sync commands to the gaming devices. In response to the sync commands, the gaming devices may start a sync timer which defines a window in which certain guarded operations may be accepted by the gaming devices. The controller may send periodic sync update commands to the gaming devices which cause the gaming devices to update their respect sync timers to a time remaining of a master sync timer or window maintained by the controller. The controller may ensure that play of the multi-player game proceeds in a relatively lock-step manner across the gaming devices.

  • Publication number: 20240265786
Abstract: A gaming machine provides a base game, from which a hold and spin feature game is triggered when a determined number of configurable symbols are displayed in a base game outcome. When the feature game is triggered, the configurable symbols are held in place on the display one or more spins are provided during the feature game in which to collect additional configurable symbols. Any additional configurable symbols are retained on the display during subsequent spins until the feature game is completed. The player is awarded a prize based on the values carried by the configurable symbols. The gaming machine includes one or more progressive play meters that are incremented when spin award symbols are displayed in base game outcomes. When the feature game is triggered, the number of spins provided in the feature game is determined based on the value carried by one of the progressive play meters.

  • Patent number: 12050551
Abstract: A data management system (DMS) may support intelligent snapshot protection techniques. For example, the DMS may backup a computing system and facilitate that capture and storage of snapshots of the computing system. The DMS may identify a deletion event associated with one or more of the snapshots, the deletion event being associated with the one or more snapshots being deleted at a first time. The DMS may determine that deletion event is anomalous and retain the one or more snapshots beyond the first time. For example, the DMS may determine that one or more parameters associated with the deletion event are indicative of the deletion event being anomalous. In response, the DMS may retain the one or more snapshots for a retention period beyond the first time.

  • Patent number: 12036722
Abstract: A method of making a multi-axial integral geogrid suitable for stabilizing aggregate includes providing a polymer sheet, providing a patterned plurality of holes or depressions in the polymer sheet, and biaxially orienting the polymer sheet having the patterned plurality of holes or depressions therein to provide a plurality of interconnected oriented strands and partially oriented junctions forming a repeating pattern of outer hexagons having an array of openings. Oriented ribs extending inwardly from each of the outer hexagons support and surround a smaller inner hexagon having oriented strands, thus forming a plurality of trapezoidal openings and a single hexagonal opening. The oriented strands and partially oriented junctions of the outer hexagons form a plurality of linear strong axis strands extending continuously throughout the geogrid and forming triangular openings.

  • Publication number: 20240233490
Abstract: A gaming machine provides a base game from which a feature game is triggered when a determined number of configurable symbols are displayed in a base game outcome. When the feature game is triggered, the configurable symbols are held in place on the display and the player is provided with more spins during the feature game in which to collect additional configurable symbols. Any additional configurable symbols are retained on the display during subsequent spins until the feature game is completed. The configurable symbols include mystery symbols whose value is not determined until the mystery symbol is displayed. A first valuation game, such as a wheel spin, is used to determine the value for the mystery symbols. At the end of the feature game, the player is awarded a prize based on the values carried by the configurable symbols. A second valuation game, such as a wheel spin, is used to provide an enhanced award if the player collects a determined number of configurable symbols during the feature game.

  • Publication number: 20240227272
Abstract: An extrusion color injection system that includes an extruder, at least one die, at least one color injector, a calibrator, and an extrusion gap. The at least one die is operable to shape material exiting from the extruder. The at least one color injector is operable to inject a colorant into the material exiting from the extruder in a pre-defined pattern. The is also calibrator downstream of the at least one die. The extrusion gap is defined between the at least one die and the calibrator. In this system, a bubble is formed in the material at the extrusion gap to impart a simulated appearance into the material with the colorant.

  • Publication number: 20240234284
Abstract: An enhanced integrated circuit interconnect package, method and multiple-layer integrated circuit laminate structure enable increased routing density per layer and maintains signal integrity performance. A differential signal via pair of vertical interconnect vias provide differential signaling. The vias of the differential signal via pair are positioned closely spaced together with each via offset from a center axis of an associated LGA contact, minimizing space between the differential signal vias and maintaining signal integrity performance, and providing increased available wiring signal channel.
