Patent number: 11822562Abstract: Aspects described herein include systems and methods for determining addresses for assets, prioritizing the addresses for inspection by users, and applying natural language processing techniques to unstructured text input by the users. According to some aspects, a message may be received that includes unstructured text that was input by a user. The unstructured text may be associated with an inspection, by the user, of an address for an asset. One or more natural language techniques may be applied to the unstructured text to, among other things, facilitate the determination and sending of a response message to the unstructured text in an automated fashion. The response message may, if the asset was not found, include another address as a suggestion for the user to inspect for the asset. This suggested address may be determined based on changes to address priority that were caused by processing of the unstructured text.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2022Date of Patent: November 21, 2023Assignee: Capital One Services, LLCInventors: Lokesh S. Patent number: 11736903Abstract: Techniques are described for obtaining current location data for a non-traditional telephony endpoint for emergency calling purposes. An emergency services (ES) provider receives, from a telephony server responding to a telecommunication session establishment request from a telephony endpoint, a location registration request, the location registration request including telephony endpoint identification information and a mobile device telephone number. The ES provider may send a short message service (SMS) message to the mobile device telephone number, the SMS message including an executable registration link that when executed on a mobile device receiving the SMS message causes the mobile device to retrieve location data of the mobile device. The ES provider may then receive the current location data from the mobile device and store it and the telephony endpoint identification information for subsequent use should a 911 call be made from that telephony endpoint.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2023Date of Patent: August 22, 2023Assignee: Bandwidth Inc.Inventors: Daniel Pereira, Larry Reeder, Lydia Runnels, Adam Covati

DNA aptamers, method for inhibiting human galectin-1 and method of treating a mammal in need thereof
Patent number: 11649460Abstract: DNA aptamers that recognize the human galectin-1 hGal1 with a very high degree of binding affinity and specificity, and inhibit hGal1-induced hemagglutination, besides presenting antiproliferative effects in seven human solid tumor cell lines are disclosed. The cytotoxicity tests demonstrated that, among 41 sequences tested, four of them (SEQ ID NO.: 04, SEQ ID NO.: 09, SEQ ID NO.:10 and, SEQ ID NO.:12) have the best capacity of inhibiting the cell growth in tumor cell. Additionally, the aptamers developed in the present invention will be used, for example, in the treatment of disorders related to the binding of human galectin-1 to a ligand in a mammal, wherein said disorder is selected from the group consisting of inflammation, fibrosis, septic shock, cancer, autoimmune diseases, metabolic disorders, heart disease, heart failure, pathological angiogenesis, and eye diseases, mainly cancer.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2020Date of Patent: May 16, 2023Inventors: Joao Francisco Peinado Pereira, Daniel Pereira Pola -
Patent number: 11632655Abstract: Techniques are described for obtaining current location data for a non-traditional telephony endpoint for emergency calling purposes. An emergency services (ES) provider receives, from a telephony server responding to a telecommunication session establishment request from a telephony endpoint, a location registration request, the location registration request including telephony endpoint identification information. The ES provider may push a quick response (QR) code to the telephony endpoint, the QR code when scanned by a mobile device causes the mobile device to retrieve its current location data. The ES provider may then receive the current location data from the mobile device and store it and the telephony endpoint identification information for subsequent use should a 911 call be made from that telephony endpoint. The ES provider may then send the telephony server an authorization acknowledgement for the telecommunication session establishment request.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2022Date of Patent: April 18, 2023Assignee: Bandwidth Inc.Inventors: Daniel Pereira, Larry Reeder, Lydia Runnels, Adam Covati

Patent number: 9647600Abstract: The device according to the invention controls a polyphase inverter (10, 14, 17) intended for powering from a DC current source (CC) a polyphase rotating electric machine (1). The device is of the type of those generating commutation functions driving commutation elements (9, 13) of the inverter in such a way as to obtain a reduction of the losses in the commutation elements and a decrease of an effective current in a decoupling capacitor (16) of the source (CC). According to the invention, this reduction and this decrease are obtained by means of a set of control strategies (21, 24) determining the commutation functions by using additional degrees of freedom of the polyphase machine (1) with respect to a three-phase reference machine. The polyphase machine comprises first and second phase windings forming a first three-phase system (2, 3, 4) and a second three-phase system (5, 6, 7) with distinct neutral points (11, 15) offset angularly by a predetermined angle of offset (?).Type: GrantFiled: April 3, 2014Date of Patent: May 9, 2017Assignee: Valeo Equipement Electriques MoteurInventors: Jean-Francois Duguey, Gilbert Konan, Francois-Xavier Bernard, Daniel Pereira, Laurent Domenger, Abdelaziz Azizi Samir, Son Ha Tran
