Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for controlling a network with one or more access points (APs). A controller may be configured to schedule at least some resources of the one or more APs to improve network efficiency. The APs may measure and report a variety of information and statistics to the controller. The controller may determine one or more transmission parameters and one or more operations a given AP is permitted to perform during a respective time interval. The controller may communicate the one or more transmission parameters using an indication, such as a message. • Publication number: 20230269760
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a UE capability message associated with a number of downlink multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) layers supported at the UE. The UE may receive a configuration for a set of downlink MIMO layers including a first subset of downlink MIMO layers configured for a first cell and a second subset of downlink MIMO layers configured for a second cell. The UE may allocate a first set of resources to the first cell or the second cell, or both, based on the first and the second subset of downlink MIMO layers. The UE may determine a second set of resources are unallocated to the set of downlink MIMO layers and allocate the second set of resources to the first cell or the second cell, or both.

  • Publication number: 20230171590
Abstract: Aspects relate to a UE adapting the capability it advertises based on the network within which the UE is operating. In some examples, if a network currently supports a certain bandwidth, the UE may select the capabilities it will advertise based on that supported bandwidth. In some examples, a UE may acquire information regarding which configurations were considered by a network. In this case, the UE may select the capabilities it will advertise based on such configurations.

  • Patent number: 11122577
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a synchronization signal block associated with a first channel number as part of a scan, wherein the synchronization signal block indicates a second channel number corresponding to a cell-defining synchronization signal block. The UE may attempt acquisition for the cell-defining synchronization signal block at an elevated priority level based at least in part on the synchronization signal block indicating the second channel number. Numerous other aspects are provided.
