  • Patent number: 11780393
Abstract: A method for operating a safety system of a motor vehicle includes correcting an output signal of a measuring sensor as a function of a current temperature value measured by a temperature sensor. The motor vehicle includes a sensor device with the measuring sensor to detect a collision and the temperature sensor. The method further includes determining an intrinsic heat of the measuring sensor generated by the operation of the measuring sensor and correcting the output signal as a function of the determined intrinsic heat.

    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH
Inventors: Marlon Ramon Ewert, Darko Rozic
  • Patent number: 11549822
Abstract: A method monitors a sensor clock signal in a sensor unit, which is generated and output for a data transfer between the sensor unit and a control unit with a predefined period duration. A reference clock signal having a predefined reference period duration is received. The sensor clock signal is compared to the reference clock signal. Based on the comparison, a deviation of the current period duration of the sensor clock signal from a target period duration is detected. Based on the detected deviation, a counting pulse or a reset pulse is emitted.

  • Patent number: 10972250
Abstract: A method corrects at least one transmission parameter for data transmission between a sensor unit and a control unit. A sensor timing signal is generated by a sensor oscillator with a predetermined period. The at least one transmission parameter is determined on the basis of the sensor timing signal. A reference timing signal is generated by a reference oscillator with a predefined reference period. The sensor timing signal is compared with the reference timing signal. A deviation of a current period of the sensor timing signal from a reference period is determined on the basis of the comparison. The at least one transmission parameter is corrected on the basis of the determined deviation.
