    Abstract: A motor vehicle disc brake assembly comprises a caliper having a cavity, a brake disc rotatable relative to the caliper, a brake lining mounted to the caliper, a piston mounted in the cavity for displacing the brake lining against the brake disc, and an electromechanical actuator for supporting the piston. The electromechanical actuator has a drive assembly operably connected to a spindle, a rotationally restrained spindle nut threaded on the spindle, and an anti-rattle clip coupling together the piston and spindle nut. Rotation of the spindle by the drive assembly moves the spindle nut to support the piston.
