    Abstract: A tissue manipulation system comprises a reconfigurable hood structure with a distal end. The structure has a low profile delivery configuration and an expanded deployed configuration which defines an open area bounded at least in part by the structure and by an interface surface extending across the hood structure distal end. The open area is in fluid communication with an environment external to the hood structure. The system also includes a catheter in communication with the open area such that introduction of a fluid through the catheter purges the open area of bodily fluid. The interface surface is slanted relative to the catheter longitudinal axis when the hood structure is in the expanded deployed configuration. The system also includes an imaging element positioned on the hood structure such that the open area is visualized through the fluid by the element.

In particular, a multi-view interactive digital media representation (MVIDMR) of a person can be generated from live images of a person captured from a hand-held camera. Using the image data from the live images, a skeleton of the person and a boundary between the person and a background can be determined from different viewing angles and across multiple images. Using the skeleton and the boundary data, effects can be added to the person, such as wings. The effects can change from image to image to account for the different viewing angles of the person captured in each image.

    Abstract: New methods for treating patents for urothelial cancer (UC) include combining selected phenotypic variables with levels of genotypic expression into a metric, the “G+P INDEX.” The G+P INDEX combines age, sex, smoking history, presence of hematuria, and frequency of hematuria with genotypic expression of the genetic markers, MDK, CDC2, HOXA13, IGFBP5, and optionally IL8Rb, then determining of the G+P INDEX value obtained for a patient is within one of three groups, either: (1) at High Risk of UC, (2) at Risk of UC, or (3) at Low Risk of UC. For groups 1 and 2, further clinical and laboratory work up or treatment is indicated, and patients in group 3 are monitored periodically to determine the need for further clinical workup. Using the G+P INDEX can save substantial time, effort, and funds by avoiding unnecessary medical diagnostic procedures for patients having or are at risk for developing UC.
