  • Patent number: 11918864
Abstract: Embodiments of putter-type golf club head comprising a striking surface capable of achieving consistent ball speeds across the striking surface to account for various ball impact locations are described herein. The striking surface has at least two materials that differ in concentration away from the geometric center of the striking surface to provide this consistency. Consistent (or uniform) ball speed is achieved throughout the striking surface as the portion of the golf ball that contacts the striking surface interacts with at least two materials having a differing material characteristic.

  • Patent number: 10092975
Abstract: A process for solid state deposition of a material onto a workpiece includes the steps of providing a rod of metallic deposition material, exerting pressure at one end of the rod to move the metallic deposition material into a deposition zone, rotating the rod while the pressure is being exerted to generate frictional heat when the rod contacts a surface of the workpiece, and raising the temperature of the metallic deposition material to reduce the amount of frictional heat which needs to be generated during the rotating step and to produce a microstructure which is substantially free of porosity and which has a fine grain size.

  • Publication number: 20120279066
Abstract: A method is disclosed for welding a first metal to a Ti-6246 alloy airfoil. The method consists of depositing weld metal by fusion welding and reshaping the airfoil to predetermined dimensions. A post weld heat treatment is applied to relieve residual stresses. Surface treatment such as laser shock peening introduces residual surface compressive stresses to enhance the mechanical integrity of the airfoil.

  • Patent number: 7766665
Abstract: A system for directly connecting multiple printed circuit boards (PCB) circuits without the need for peripheral connectors. Multiple PCBs are electrically and mechanically interfaced with one or more plated holes or tabs on at least one first PCB and one or more plated tabs or holes on at least one second PCB. The plated tab(s)/hole(s) from said second PCB mate with the corresponding plated tab(s)/hole(s) from said first PCB to form a mechanical and electrical interconnect.
