  • Patent number: 11131449
Abstract: The present invention relates to a lighting device including a light transmittable shell, a conductive unit and a light source. The light transmittable shell has an inner space and a mounting opening connected to the inner space. The light source is mounted around the mounting opening such that the LEDs in the light source are arranged along the edge of the mounting opening. The light from the light source transmits through the light transmittable shell from the edge of the mounting opening, leading to a glowing effect of the light transmittable shell, improving the lighting efficiency of the lighting device. Furthermore, the LEDs are distributed along the edge of the mounting opening and have direct contact with the flowing air in open space, so the heat-dissipation of the LEDs is effective enough without extra cooling components.

  • Patent number: 10984337
Abstract: Searching is assisted by recognizing a selection of text from a document as an indication that a user wishes to initiate a search based on the selected text. The user is provided with query suggestions based on the selected text and the query suggestions are ranked based on a context provided by the document. The user may select the text by using a mouse, drawing a circle around the text on a touch screen, or by other input techniques. The query suggestions may be based on query reformulation or query expansion techniques applied to the selected text. Context provided by the document is used by a language model and/or an artificial intelligence system to rank the query suggestions in predicted order of relevance based on the selected text and the context.

  • Publication number: 20210083495
Abstract: A power management system includes a battery charging system, a power supplying system, a first switching module, and a second switching module. The power management system is switched between the battery charging system and the power supplying system via the first switching module and the second switching module. With a charging electric energy generated by the waveform generating module, the battery charging system could restore the aging battery or the battery with degraded performance to a better state when the batteries are charging. By sensing a battery state of batteries, the power supplying system provides a supplementing power to the batteries, and the supplementing power and a power of the batteries could be supplied to a load together.

  • Publication number: 20200273218
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for automated detection of shadow artifacts in optical coherence tomography (OCT) and/or OCT angiography (OCTA). The shadow detection includes applying a machine-learning algorithm to the OCT dataset and the OCTA dataset to detect one or more shadow artifacts in the sample. The machine-learning algorithm is trained with first training data from first training samples that include manufactured shadows and no perfusion defects and second training data from second training samples that include perfusion defects and no manufactured shadows. The shadow artifacts in the OCTA dataset and/or OCT dataset may be suppressed to generate a shadow-suppressed OCTA dataset and/or a shadow-suppressed OCT dataset, respectively. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

  • Patent number: 10709255
Abstract: An inflation identification connector and an air mattress system having the same is provided. The inflation identification connector is insertable into a connection seat of a gas delivery host. The connection seat has a light detection component coupled to a controller disposed in the gas delivery host. The inflation identification connector includes a body and an identification structure. The detection result of the light detection component depends on the identification structure and thus is conducive to identification. Upon its insertion into the connection seat, the inflation identification connector is identified by the gas delivery host, enhancing ease of use and protecting manual operation against mistakes. The gas delivery host is not only applicable to different types of air mattresses but also conducive to streamlined management of the air mattress system and reduction of management costs and risks.
