  • Publication number: 20240125385
Abstract: A zero turning radius mower park brake system includes a park brake pawl on a transmission which engages a park brake to a pair of independently driven traction wheels. A park brake link may be pivotably mounted to the park brake pawl and connected to a left steering lever and a right steering lever. The park brake link may pivot while moving the park brake pawl forward to a park brake engaged position if only one of the steering levers is moved outward from a neutral traction drive position.

  • Patent number: 6920906
Abstract: A pneumatic tire has an aggressive tread pattern for use on both on-road and off-road vehicles having at least a pair of intermediate ribs and a pair of shoulder ribs providing the ground engaging tread lugs. A plurality of circumferentially extending lug groups are formed on and extend outwardly from and along the sidewalls of the tire. Each lug group preferably includes three separate lugs, each lug having a substantially flat outer surface lying in a different plane than the outer surfaces of the other two lugs. Two of the lugs are radially aligned with each other along the sidewall of the tire with the third lug lying intermediate spaced pairs of these aligned lugs. The lugs are formed with sharp corners offset from each other which extend outwardly from the sidewall to different levels.

  • Patent number: 6913053
Abstract: A pneumatic tire has a tread portion, a pair of axially spaced bead areas and a pair of sidewalls. A body ply carcass extends axially between the bead areas and contains three body ply layers which turn-up about the bead areas from inside to outside. Two of the body ply layers are of equal axial lengths with the third body ply layer being considerably less or greater than the other two layers. The highest turn-up end of at least one of the body ply layers has a height of between 42% and 55% of the tire section height.

  • Publication number: 20040018262
Abstract: A segmented tire mold for molding a pneumatic tire with reduced flash in the sidewalls. The mold has an annular array of tread mold segments which have an inner circumferential surface and inwardly extending projections which form the tread pattern in the tire including the skid surface and tread lugs. The mold further includes a pair of sidewall mold plates which are in abutting contact with the tread mold segments and form a pair of circumferentially extending mold parting lines which are in axial alignment with a nylon reinforcing strip located in the crown portion of the tire and within ½ inch of the inner circumferential surface of the tread mold segments to reduce flash formed on the molded tire.
