  • Publication number: 20170188655
Abstract: An article of footwear having an adjustable width is disclosed. The article of footwear can include a lower sole and an upper sole. The lower and upper soles can have grooves to allow for expansion and contraction. The article of footwear can also include a width adjustment assembly. The width adjustment assembly can have a lead screw, an adjustment device accessible to a wearer from the outside of the article of footwear, an actuation strap, an anchor plate connected to the actuation strap. Rotation of the adjustment device can cause the lead screw to rotate, which in turn can change the tension in the actuation strap. Changes to the tension in the actuation strap can cause the width of the forefoot portion of an article of footwear to be adjusted.

Abstract: An article of footwear including a length adjustment mechanism is disclosed. The article of footwear can include a sole portion with one or more anchors connected to the sole portion. The article of footwear can also include a heel cup capable of moving between a fore position and an aft position. This can be accomplished using one or more length adjustment mechanisms that each slidably engage the one or more anchors, such that they have an unlocked state and a locked state. In the unlocked state, the heel cup can move with respect to the one or more anchors; and in the locked state cannot move with respect to the one of more anchors.

  • Patent number: 9637301
Abstract: A method and apparatus for storing and dispensing a viscous product. The product and a propellant are stored in a container on a base, and the propellant forms a head space. In a storage configuration, the container rests on the base, the base rests on a surface, and the propellant in the head space and the product tend to move toward positions wherein the propellant in the head space is at a higher elevation than the product and the product is at a higher elevation than an inlet to a dispenser. In one aspect, the base comprises a first portion, a second portion comprising a lid, a sidewall comprising a window, and an interior. In a second aspect, the method comprises storing the container in the storage configuration, removing the lid to expose a dispenser, dispensing the product, and viewing an interior of the base through the window.
