Patent number: 11792246Abstract: Live performances are coordinated at venues using a host (server) and client (user devices). Scripts for live performances are stored at the host. Each script has roles for playing by users (actors) and has teleprompter text for delivery at a sequence in the live performances. Media elements are associated at the host in the sequence of the teleprompter text for output in the live performances. Once a lobby is created for a live performance at a venue, clients are associated at the host with the roles for the script. The host delivers the teleprompter text for output in real time at the sequence during the live performance with the clients at the venue, and the host delivers the associated media elements for output in the sequence during the live performance at the venue. Each venue can have an associated configuration for media output so the host can deliver the media elements according to the configuration.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2019Date of Patent: October 17, 2023Assignee: INNER-CITY MOVEMENT, INC.Inventor: Benjamin David Myers

Patent number: 11754471Abstract: Techniques and methods for testing a structural integrity of a vehicle. For instance, the vehicle may use suspension(s) to lift corners of the vehicle, where lifting the corners creates a torsion force in the body of the vehicle. The vehicle may then use sensor(s) to determine a deflection that is caused by the torsion force. Next, the vehicle may determine a stiffness associated with the body of the vehicle using the force that was applied to lift the corners and the deflection. After determining the stiffness, the vehicle may compare the stiffness to a baseline stiffness in order to determine whether there is a problem with the structural integrity of the vehicle. The baseline stiffness may include s standard stiffness or be based on a previous test of the vehicle. If the vehicle determines that there is no problem, then the vehicle may continue to operate as intended.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2021Date of Patent: September 12, 2023Assignee: Zoox, Inc.Inventors: Johannes Edren, Ahditya Melkote, Keith David Myers

Patent number: 11728013Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to systems and methods for accessing, managing, and exchanging patient information across a plurality of providers that may have various discrete medical record systems, including, but not limited to medical facilities, clinics, ambulatory emergency health systems, and other providers (e.g., heterogeneous healthcare providers). In various embodiments, the system receives a request from a requesting party for one or more records of a particular patient. In response, in one or more embodiments, the system identifies what information (if any) the requester is authorized to receive, retrieves the information the requester is authorized to receive from various discrete medical record systems, then normalizes and aggregates the retrieved information. In a particular embodiment, the system also denormalizes the data (e.g., converts the data to the local format and terms of the requester) before transmitting the retrieved data to the requester.Type: GrantFiled: July 16, 2014Date of Patent: August 15, 2023Assignee: Intelichart, LLCInventors: Christopher John Boston, Gary Robert Hamilton, Robert George Hamilton, Charles David Myers, William Francis Plourde, Ruben Dario Sosa

Patent number: 11637243Abstract: Self-organizing patterns with micrometer-scale feature sizes are promising for the large area fabrication of photonic devices and scattering layers in optoelectronics. Pattern formation would ideally occur in the active semiconductor to avoid the need for further processing steps. The present disclosure includes approaches to form period patterns in single layers of organic semiconductors by an annealing process. When heated, a crystallization front propagates across the film, producing a sinusoidal surface structure with wavelengths comparable to that of near-infrared light. These surface features form initially in the amorphous region within a micron of the crystal growth front, likely due to competition between crystal growth and surface mass transport. The pattern wavelength can be tuned by varying film thickness and annealing temperature, millimeter scale domain sizes are obtained. Aspects of the disclosure can be exploited for self-assembly of microstructured organic optoelectronic devices, for example.Type: GrantFiled: May 22, 2020Date of Patent: April 25, 2023Assignee: Regents of the University of MinnesotaInventors: Russell J.
