  • Patent number: 10848920
Abstract: Described herein is a system and method of generating precise location information. Feature points of an image are received from a user device (e.g., mobile phone). Location information of the user device (e.g., GPS coordinates) and relative transform information from the user device are also received. An image anchor is identified based upon the received feature points, relative transform information, and the received location information. Precise location information of the identified image anchor is provided to the user device. The precise location information of the identified image anchor is based upon filtered feature points, location information and relative transform information received from a plurality of user devices over a period of time (e.g., hours, days, weeks, months). The precise location information of the identified image anchor is updated based upon the location information of the user device and the relative transform information received from the user device.

  • Patent number: 8386587
Abstract: Systems and methods for synchronizing data between endpoints using elements of centralized and decentralized synchronization systems and communication topologies are disclosed. Such systems and methods may in some cases synchronize some subset of data with a centralized endpoint while another subset of data is synchronized in a decentralized fashion directly with other endpoints. Such systems and methods may include a variety of cooperative functionality to assist in the synchronization of data between endpoints.

  • Publication number: 20120204093
Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for sending web-based content to a local device (e.g., TV) using a personal device (e.g., smartphone). A user can open a web-based document that comprises desired web-based content on their personal device (e.g., smartphone). Upon opening the web-based document, a document element can be dynamically generated in the web-based document that comprises a source served by a remote pairing service. A user interface (UI) can be rendered on the personal device, such as “send content” button. When the user activates (e.g., clicks on) the UI, the web-based content can be provided to the local device (e.g., TV), by sending or pulling, where the local device can be paired with the personal device by the remote pairing service.

  • Patent number: 7613778
Abstract: Provided is a messaging system capable of detecting and processing at least a portion of a malformed message, e.g., a message that previously failed to process. An identifier and state information for the message can be logged. Based on the stored information, a determination can be made that the message previously failed to process. The message can then progressively be de-featured until the message can be processed or until the message is determined to be poisonous, whereupon it can be deleted or otherwise removed from the message stream permanently or temporarily—including moving the message to storage for operator inspection or for delayed delivery.
